Little update: White Princess Mom has a new leaf open! It was the one I had to assist in order for the circulation to open up or it would have died off. I'm noticing all of my new leaves are so wrinkly because they've been closed and stuck for so long. I've started misting my plants every night as well as have my humidifier topped out. I'd like to get another one eventually to help with this but I need to wait until after the holidays. Second pair of photos are of my red moon. She has just a little bit of red again at the top but also a red vein running through which has not been there before yet. There is already another leaf preparing to start splitting open. I plan on using a wet paper towel or increase humidity sooner if I see signs of it needed it. No more wrinkly leaves! Last two shots are of my moonlight Philo and wrinkly new leaf PLUS that super cool leaf that is growing out differently. I wonder if it adapted to the lack of humidity and is growing a different way or it just does that sometimes. My Silver Sword's leaf is unfurling. I think it might end up still being an immature leaf, hard to tell with the edges still curled in. Another one to add a moss pole to!
Super happy with the girls lately 💚
This is the final piece I stitched up for a show- a very fancy and variegated African Violet 💜
Saintpaulias, commonly known as African violets, are a genus of 6–20 species of herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae, native to Tanzania and adjacent southeastern Kenya in eastern tropical Africa.
