"ever driven a motorcycle?" he asks with a glint in his eyes that wasn't always there—that of pure excitement over the prospect of getting her in one & see what kind of expression she would wear. the thought alone causes him to smile, mischievous almost, but of course, if she had come to learn anything about him, it should be that he thrived in that sort of thing. "ya should join me some time & see how fast ya can take."
varon's question was successful in pulling leah's attention away from the reflections of light that glimmered over the surface of the lake they were walking around, the brightness of the city still illuminating the park they were in from a distance despite what hour of the night it was. in picking up on that gleam in his eyes, her own lips quirked into an amused smile as she asked, "does that mean you trust me enough to drive your motorcycle? isn't that like, your baby?" she'd be surprised if that was really the case, all things considered.
“can’t say i’ve driven a motorcycle before, or that i’m not chicken enough to try it. really, the idea kind of scares me.” and she laughs, a hand reaching up as she toyed with a lock of her hair to deflect some of her embarrassment in admitting such a thing to someone so opposite from her. “though, i wouldn’t mind joining you for a ride. so long as you promise you’ll bring me back in one piece.”
