Going Vape Free
Ok, little bit of info used to smoke cigarettes, and began to have breathing issues. So a friend suggested getting into vaping, because it helps to ween off of nicotene. Boy was this friend wrong. so vaped from 2017 to 2024, and granted that this was not the first time I quit but was a tad more easier.
Reason why is was a bit more easier was because my oral fixation was satiated while weening off of nicotene. Went down from a 6 nic, 2 nic, and last was the 0 nic. When I say this was a pain in the ass I was in literal pain, because addiction pains for the first couple of months. So I was swollen all through freaking summer and had joint pains for days along with my pinch sciatica coming back with a vengence! But survived with a bitter temperment and hating not having nicotene.
Which after a month that changed and stayed vaping on a 0 nic for 2 months due to oral fixation. To which I did eat a bit more sweets and drink more sodas, because ironically the soda carbonation felt like vaping burn in the back of the throat.
But I also began to drink more water, because it was my way of not reaching for the vape due to oral fixation since I pretty much was over the nicotene deal. lol To which now I am vape free, and yes every so often I do crave vaping but I am substituting that with drinking more water and using my soda stream for when I want that burn. Along with exercising more often, and that has definitely helped me a great deal, and it has kick started me getting into better shape for the career change that is more physically demanding.
