Susie’s on a stage by Pandora Cafe in another attempt to drum up sales. She sings along to an upbeat tune played from a karaoke machine.

As the instrumental fades on the second loop, Susie steps to the side for a drink of water. She stops partway when she notices someone standing attentively after the show.

“Oh, hello. Did you enjoy the performance? I came up with the lyrics myself, you know. Oh, or if you’re here for an autograph, then I’ll happily give one after proof of purchase!”

Canus had decided to peruse the food stalls at the Star Trail.  They didn’t need to eat food in Medio, so he knew he wouldn’t find any ‘home’ cuisine there.  He had; however, taken a liking to some of the food Kotone would make at the café and figured he might like to bring some back to his condo later.  It was typical Japanese curry that he was looking for, but frankly the amount of options he had was slightly overwhelming.

Next to him was a young girl who also seemed to be rather befuddled by the endless selection of foods available to them.  She was wearing rather strange attire compared to others around them, so she was likely from another world same as he.  In which case, she probably couldn’t help him find the curry he was looking for but...maybe it was worth a shot.

She looked familiar. He hadn’t seen her, and she probably wasn’t of much import, but there was definitely something familiar about her. While he was trying to place where he knew the girl from, he grabbed one of the marshmallow creatures out of the air. A smaller one, but one nonetheless.

He didn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but...

Two pairs of big eyes looked up at him, and he looked away from his point of observation down. A smile crosses his features and he hands the marshmallow to a smaller set of hands. “Here you go! Go tell your little brother he’s next okay?” The young girl ran off excitedly, already biting into her marshmallow treat.

Seems like it caught the familiar girl’s attention. He gave a wave.
