The song/video that got me into them was BTD (Before the dawn). I have been following them since debut (been into Kpop for a loooong time) and their debut song was really good but back then I was really caught up in G-dragon so I couldn't give them the attention they deserved. BTD though, well... That video. I do have a little goffik heart and who doesn't like a nice video of miserable, gritty boys beating the shit out of each other? Uhm... I mean... Watch for yourself.

I think during their BTD promos they were first noticed by the public too. Because of the infamous scorpion dance. Have the practice video for the BTD dance. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hheTFmi9YIc) But you should really just watch all of their dance practices because Infinite are famous for their synchronized dancing. Even though some members can't actually dance. (cough Myungsoo and Wooyoung cough) How? Well, hard hard hard work. Hardworking is probably the word that fits Infinite the best. They come from a company with no prior expierence with Idols. (Nell belongs to the same company btw.) And in the beginning that really showed. They had no connections to the Idolworld etc. It was hard and they lived in some kind of house with two rooms and a tiny bathroom and walls that were so thin "that fans could hear them talk from outside" (This is what they themselves said.) Their new dorm was a gift for their first win. And when they first won they bawled their eyes out. Actually, they always bawl their eyes out when they win. The song they won with was "Be Mine". Incidently my favorite Infinite single. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeuejYoRbps) All of their songs have a kind of 80s retro feel to it? Idk that's what I heard other compare it to. But all of them are good, I think. (Excluding "She's back" maybe... uhm... yeah) Not so much into "Nothing's over" but even that one's pretty good and it has a fun video. Oh and then there's Paradise with stalker-ish, creepy lyrics but the song is good as long as you don't know what it's about. Okay, that's it for the music department. Now let's move on to what Kpop is really about. Boys. I mean... yes.

Except I guess I have to harp on about my two favorites. Sungjong and Myungsoo. And Dongwoo I mean who can dislike Dongwoo?

Myungsoo... is actually quite useless. He can hold himself as a singer and dancer but he doesn't really have a great voice (a pleasant one) and if you asked him to dacne it would not look good. No. He's the visual. The pretty boy so to say. I don't actually know what his charm is because he isn't actually funny either. He's just... odd. But he has a good drama under his belt. Shut up flower boyband. So check that out. Btw another role in that one is played by the drummer of Mate if you know them. It's not even that Myungsoo acts particularly great in that drama, it's just a very charming drama about friendship. But get your tissues ready. I mean it.

Okay, Dongwoo. Dongwoo is Sunshine. He smiles like an idiot at all times and his fellow member constantly wonder whether that is an act and if he isn't actually a genius underneath that smile. (I believe that.) He has a big moosh moosh heart, cries at the drop of a hat (dramatically with full on sobbing) and believes himself ugly because he obviously doesn't fit Koreas narrow beauty standards. Actually, I think that's something all of the Infinite boys have in common. I mean, they don't exactly look like most Idol groups... (Maybe excluding Woohyun and Myungsoo, the visual and Namstar)

And Sungjong. Prince of Kpop. Sungjong is the maknae. And a Diva. He's snarky, bratty and the pretties little thing. His little voice is is the main attraction of the wonderful Neverending Geurae remix of Be Mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuzPcUBMhVY (Did I mention that the fandom is crazy? Well, now you know.)

But actually, Sungjong is the main attraction of everything. Because he's simply great. Especially when choosing a drag number as his solo. I mean. Yes. work that dress with the mesh, Sungjong. Basically Sungjong is perfect.

If you want to get into them more you could begin watching their Sesame Player in which they try to escape their managers to go out and eat and things like that. It's on youtube with subs. Just look for it. RN they are on Ranking King in which Hoya makes it very obvious that he's just as smitten with Sungjong as we all are. (And as he should be tbh.)
