You could buy either of the games on Steam: Fear & Hunger or Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. They can be played in either order, but tbh I would probably recommend starting with Termina. It's a little bit easier (just slightly) and there's also a lot more character options to pick from at the beginning.

Otherwise, there are a lot of great videos on youtube!! I found Fear & Hunger through this video essay about the series. The Youtube channel Worm Girl has 2 really great videos where she walks through the entire plot of each game in depth and explains everything. If you're a person who prefers watching something like that over playing, I definitely recommend her videos. (Fear & Hunger video and Termina video)

If you prefer to watch gameplay, I watched Daeron Agustus' playthrough before I bought Termina. He did a run as the character Olivia and got every end as her and did a really great job seeing a ton of the game's content in his run. His Olivia run is here. He also did a playthrough as the character O'saa, which I'm currently watching here. For any little bits of lore or anything else you miss, I strongly recommend this channel on Youtube, who uploads basically all of each game's content in digestible videos, as well as the series' wiki.

I feel obligated to warn as a precaution to definitely heed the trigger warnings at the start of the game. Both of the games deal with just about every triggering topic ever and are very, very graphic, both sexually and violently.

I really hope you enjoy taking a look at it and if you have any specific questions, I am always here to answer them!! I know a lot more about Termina's lore than F&H's lore, but I could also point you in the right direction if there's anything I don't know.

Do you have any advice on how to remember to water plants? My little babies are very dehydrated and I feel very bad about it. I've become The Plant Person in the house since we have a cat now and don't want him getting into them. Also if you have any tips for pacing myself and not overworking myself and stuff like that, I would really appreciate it ^-^

for the plants, you could set an alarm or reminder on your phone to water them, however many times they need to be watered - once a day, twice a week, whatever ! i recently started taking a vitamin, and i have a reminder on my phone for me to take it, bc my body and sleep gets all out of whack without it, and it really helped me.

i have a lot of issues around overworking myself too. something i’m trying to do is taking frequent breaks whenever i study. this’ll help reset your brain a little too. 10 minutes every half hour works really well for me ! as well as taking breaks, taking days off is really important, too. this is something i really work on, because last semester i didn’t really have even one day a week where i wasn’t studying or doing homework. so taking one weekend day & one weekday off at the very least is a really good call. i have a lot of study tips, too, if you need any help with that !
