Speedball and Justice are questioned by Captain America and Iron Man = the Black-and-White version & the Colored version 

Vance Astrovik (also known as Marvel Boy and now, Justice) gets shipped a lot by both canon and fanfic writers. Not bad for an underrated New Warrior.

Note: This is not for trying to start the Shipping Wars. 

Those ships are...

Justice and Captain America = Well, it’s a mentor/idol ship alright. Steve Rogers is mostly seen as an ideal father figure in Vance’s eyes. Works as a friendship pairing.

Justice x Firestar = Shipped by those Marvel writers like Fabian Nicieza, Evan Skolnick and Kurt Busiek (the latter for late 90s Avengers). Also has fans in New Warriors fandom. Though sadly, the first romantic couple had broke up by the same New Warriors writer Fabian Nicieza in the valentines special ‘I heart Marvel’ comic.

Justice x Nova (Richard Rider) = I have seen this pairing of Vance and Rich in fandom before... 

Justice and Sabra = Shipped by Evan Skolnick from one story arc just because he thought “Jews look cute together as a couple”. Unfortunately, the problem with it is that Sabra is too old for him as she used to be a mother who lost her child in her backstory and Justice was 17-18 years old at that time. So shipping the mother of her deceased child and the young man she barely knows is just...Ewww....Though thankfully, it was left forgotten.

Justice x Ultragirl = Only done by the writers of Avengers Initiative but so far, I don’t know if any fan out there likes this pairing.

Justice and Veil = It’s not really a pairing, it’s more like student having a crush on a teacher. Like teenage girls in their hormonal mode, Veil had a crush on her teacher Justice in the early issues of Avengers Academy comic. After that in some issues later, Veil got over her crush as it progresses.

Justice x Speedball = Well, this ship all started when Speedball made out-of-context jokes like “You’re so sexy when you’re angry” to Vance in one issue of Evan Skolnick’s New Warriors comic. But after that, it was somewhat forgotten until Vance and Robbie got shipped when Avengers Academy came along as both of them are seldom seen apart in the comic. Vance is rather a supportive friend/partner of Robbie in Avengers Academy, Zeb Wells’ Nova comic and 2014 New Warriors. It’s also taken to different levels in fanworks when the pairing can be platonic, romantic or even slashy. 

Today on Vance and Robbie are canon - After quelling the prison riot and sending the convicts back to the cells in Raft prison, Justice gets so worried that he fusses over Speedball’s cuts like an overprotective mother hen.
