ANYWAY!!

If we're talking post-scoop, I imagine he'd be deprived of love. Whether it be parental, friendship or romantic; he'd wish for someone to be by his side but would he ever admit to that? Absolutely fuckin' not.

He has a mission to accomplish, anyway. No time for things like this, right?

But, hypothetically, if it ever did come down to this; I imagine he'd be very old fashioned. Both because he's born in the what, 1970s? And because he simply believes his s/o should get the best treatment possible.

I'm talking flowers at your doorstep, breakfast in bed (maybe a little burnt, but-), cleaning the house when you're tired, taking care of you when you're sick. All while forgetting to take care of himself, most importantly.

Let's not forget all the sweet petnames he'd use— darling, dearest, my love, doll..

But hey- he's a corpse. Not like there's much to take care of. Physically, at least.

Maybe you'd just need to remind him to at least spray on some cologne when he's in the house.

He'd have trouble believing your "I love you"'s, but if you're patient with him, eventually he'll fully accept your love, and learn to love himself through you.

Movie Michael being the version of Michael that didn't have to suffer the grief of losing his brother and became the "monster" that he was originally supposed to be

Michael afton in the movies was divided into two characters - Mike Schmidt (the extreme grief that Michael felt in game after losing his brother) and Michael Afton (the extreme obsession with his father)

I really like the idea of us seeing what Michael would've become if he didn't have this grief to deal with

I also micro analyzed every scene and during his argument with Vanessa, it's so clear you can see how he's begging for her to come home because he's lonely. The moment she declines he first considers whether or not what he's about to do is a good idea (as evident from his facial expressions) and then he switches and starts pretending that he doesn't care, because being upset about this is weakness, and weakness was never allowed in the Afton family

I may be biased because Michael Afton is my favorite character oat and when I have a favorite character I analyze every little scene I have of them LOL

Anyway. Michael in the movie is so clearly trying his best to be evil but it's all just so he can get recognition from his dead father bc he always craved his attention. He was always at the sidelines because Vanny was Williams favorite and he never got praise despite busting his ass off for his father's recognition

He's like a broken brainwashed soul that was manipulated by William to an extreme, he himself is a victim of Williams actions, and he doesn't know how to care for others because William never cared for him

In any case it was Scott Cawthon in the writing booth and I'm sure if someone else was alongside him this side of Michael would've been explored better. Or maybe it will during the third movie (I hope)

I also tend to shove a lot of headcanons on the characters I like #trust me I will make movie michael into a more interesting guy once I start drawing him

But to clarify it's alright to have a different opinion I'm not judging u for it at all!! I just love characters who are traumatized victims but hide it under a guise. Always feels like there's so much potential there

I'd imagine he was a bit of a player ?? In his teens before everything that happened with his brother, so he'd date around a lot! Although with his past attitude he'd be kinda.. rude to his s/o. I'm thinking like Rodrick Heffley from the diary of a wimpy kid movie (he's fine as hell)

Stubborn, rude, a bit egoistic, so he'd be a bit of an asshole to his s/o, but girls would still flock him cuz he was the bad boy of his school. Also his dad was the co owner of Fredbears, so he was like, really rich too.

I imagine if he did go too far and upset his partner, he'd be apologetic, although reluctantly. He had a persona to uphold after all.
