I bought all four issues of this at once some months ago, and let them sit in my TBR pile for a while. I wish I'd read them earlier so I could've added the series to my subscription list, because this was good. It's a lot of wild vampire nonsense done with verve and style. If you like modern vampires that lean into the monstrous and magical, chances are good you'll dig this.
The influence of Vampire the Masquerade practically screams at you from the first few pages, but it's not just another version of that series.
The art has that great expressive, yet detailed approach that really works for me. I love when cartooning is used to express emotion, character, and action, while the world it all happens in feels solid and gritty.
I've ordered the trade paperback that collects the second half of the series. I hope we see a lot more of this.
