Prologue
There’s silence in the building, and it reminds you of better times. The rain beats almost ceremoniously against the glass panes, and when you breathe it hurts. Everything comes and goes, and you suppose so will you. That’s how things are.
You can feel the grass, a soft cushion under your broken body. It has grown in a place nobody ever thought it could. The hardwood floors of an old mansion, one people would have waltzed on. And now it was your final resting place.
