Meanwhile on the previous night, after Badd and Zenko were escorted into Vampire Council by the messengers, they're roomed into a royal prisoner chamber. It looked like regular guest room, but still being placed in prisoner chamber was humiliating enough for Badd. He didn't understand why everyone suddenly decided to pay attention to him after so many years being left ignored, especially after his family clan's tragedy. Is it sin to fall in love with your sworn enemy? Is it sin to bear the fruit of their love and be happy with their small family? Why did they tried to capture him just now when everything seems to be good?

Zenko calling his name disrupting his thoughts, made him realized that he's crying silently already. Quickly Badd wiped his tears and trying to give cheered-up smile like he usually do for Zenko, who immediately frowned and suddenly hit his chest hard it made Badd a bit stumbled back. While Badd still trying to stop his coughing fit after being hit on the chest, Zenko hugged him tightly. Zenko said she hates to see her brother knee-deep in sorrow like this, and it hurts her when she saw his pained smile like that. She believes Garou and the packs would come to help them soon, so there's no reason to give up. They must be strong together for tough time right now, just like when they're still being a fugitive siblings before meeting Garou.

So, in the meantime they're waiting for any help from their werewolf packs alliances which surely she believed will coming soon, Zenko assured her brother that she'd defend Badd as his decharge witness with every wits she has in his trial which will be held on the next morning. She joked that maybe she'll become a Lawyer in the future instead of Healer if she could managed to win Badd's trial tomorrow.

Chuckling at her attempt to return his spirit, Badd said that he'll absolutely looking forward for it, while caressing her sister's hair fondly. Thanks to Zenko reassuring words before, Badd feels a lot better now. He's ready for everything that will happen in the court tomorrow, that's how his survival instincts kicked in him like the old days. He just wondering what might Garou and Gaman do right now, it's just one night but he's already missed them terribly.

The morning where the trial will be hold, Badd and Zenko were escorted by royal guards towards the court waiting room. On their way walking through the Fortress corridors, Badd crossed path with Amai who's still talking with some court prosecutors. Realized that Badd was glaring murderously at him, Amai just sneering while mouthing "scum" at him. That word alone instantly made Badd wants to kill him on the spot but the guards and Zenko restrained him immediately as soon as he raised his handcuffed hands.

Even after they entered waiting room, Badd still trying to calm himself from the anger feeling he feels caused by Amai's offensive provocation word. Suddenly Zenko grabbing his hand tightly while saying Badd doesn't have to worry about what Amai said to them before, also Badd doesn't have to kill him because she was sure Amai wont live long enough once Garou arrived to this fortress. She trusted Garou that he'd kill him in the most cruel way possible.

Badd was shocked hearing the warm chirped voice she usually has turned into bone-chilling cold voice, very different than when she's angry. This is not just angry anymore, she's beyond furious! If Badd didn't have Fighting Spirit in him, maybe he'd been killed by just feeling her sister's dangerous aura with so much murderous intent beside him right now.

Zenko had been knew the reason behind of why their family clan were massacred by vampire hunters even though they did nothing harmful to humans. It happened because they were betrayed by Amai's family clan who somehow framed them wrong and spread the false rumours about them which it also have been heard by vampire hunters in their region. And when all the massacre happened Amai's family clan ignored their plead for help and just let them being murdered. This is the reason why Zenko ABSOLUTELY HATES Amai, she still held the grudge to him for indirectly killed their parents and also for always threatened his brother's life safety in every chances he get all these year. And now he's doing it again with his cunning trick.

Badd understand Zenko's feeling. Even though she's still at very young age when that tragedy happened, she suffered the most about losing both of their parent. While Badd hadn't had enough time to mourn and must divert his grief feeling into survival urges to save Zenko from vampire hunters who followed them. He remembered how they just blindly running into the unfamiliar woods without knowing any direction or certain destination. Until the run out of their animal blood stocks because he gave them all to Zenko and it's still too dangerous to go hunting when there's hunter searching for them. Let alone he's already so tired as hell.

Fortunately they found a shack that was Garou's house, once they entered it he just passed out from exhaustion and starvation for blood. He thought he's finally at the death's door, but suddenly he felt something warm and sweet, sweeter than any blood he ever tasted, flooding into his mouth. Never ever he tasted blood this sweet before, so unconsciously he grabbed the source then drink it with more enthusiasm.

After Badd was awoken, the first thing he saw was a very handsome man's face which made his cold heart fluttering wildly. Blush creeping to his cheeks once he's realized that he still in this man's intimate craddle, his large calloused warm hand still caressing Badd's face carefully while his other hand still being held by Badd on his mouth, tongue still lapping on his wrist. Immediately he got up and tried to shield Zenko from this mysterious (yet stunning) stranger. Then after the stranger who introduced himself as Garou explained the whole deal with Zenko, Badd was so surprised about that fact he was going to be his Mate! But actually he really didn't mind it at all, Badd just curious about how Garou will try to get his heart.

Badd chuckled at the memories of Garou trying so hard to court Badd, giving any presents that he deemed as valuable things to him. He always yearning for Badd's attention to the point Garou looked like an adorable big puppy whenever he's following Badd around rather than a dignified Alpha werewolf. Of course he knew very well that Garou seriously head over heels for Badd, and Badd also reciprocated his feeling. He only wait for the best time to confess it to him.

And it happened when Badd was fighting local hunters who came across Garou's territory, the moment he was cornered by them when he clumsily fell onto their trap, Garou immediately comes to help him. Never ever Badd have seen a werewolf with amazing graceful movements could delivered such deathly brute strength attacks like Garou, he was so amazed by him and only could watching in awe.

After Garou finished on demolishing all the hunters, he quickly checked on Badd if there's any fatal injuries on him. Seeing a cool bloodied looking Garou caring for him, the very first person who gives a fuck for him after the tragedy, Badd decided that this was his moment to confess his love for Garou.

He started to lick any splattered blood remains on Garou's fair white skin, on his abs muscles, and lastly on his neck. He kissed the skin surface before whispering his declaration of love for Garou right into his ear, kissed his cheek briefly then looking into Garou's eyes, gazing softly at him. Badd also said that he's willing to become Garou's Mate and pledged his loyalty forever to him until his last breath. Garou looked shocked for a moment, but quickly brightened at the realization of Badd finally reciprocated his feeling and agreed to mate with him.

To seal their deal as Mates, Garou offered his neck, the most vulnerable part of werewolf, but it didn't matter because he trusted Badd and he wanted to earn Badd's full trust. Badd flustered at the gesture, but accepted his offer by biting his neck very gently while sucking the blood in most intimate manner. He could feel the heat emanating from Garou's skin under his lips, the pulse of Garou's heartbeats, the rush of Garou's blood sweetness. It has dizzifying effects for Badd because of the thought that he will becomes someone's Mate, moreover that someone was his sworn enemy, a werewolf, a rogue Alpha one to be exactly. That fact alone was supposed to be a wrong and forbidden thing, yet it felt so right especially when he's currently enveloped in Garou's protective embrace. After Badd finished drinking, they kissed passionately, feeling happy and content knowing they're going to spend their entire life with each other from now on.

Garou warned Badd that Werewolf's mating ritual involved marking the mate's neck to show the Alpha ownership, and the last thing is sexual activity which will ended with knotting as an attempt of breeding to completing the final bond. Before they performing the mating ritual, Badd was asked by Garou if he had a second thought about this or not, because he didn't want to do it unless he had Badd's consent first. Without any hesitation Badd surrendering himself for Garou to become his Mate, because he know with this they'll be together forever.

Seeing how much determination in Badd's eyes, Garou only smiled and kissed Badd deeply on the lips again. Then the kisses going down on his jaw, until Garou peppering soft kisses on his neck, before finally biting it hard with his sharp fangs. That hurts for Badd, but it's really worth it. The bite itself leaving a permanent mark on Badd's shoulder, showing Garou's ownership as his Mate. After that, they started making love.

The vivid memories of their first time made Badd blushing madly everytime he remembered that. Like how many times Garou refered him as the most beautiful being he ever seen in his whole life or that he's a godsend gift or that Garou loves him so much for what he is, while he was getting pounded wildly or sometimes deliciously slow from behind, taking Garou fully, knot also included. And they're totally not doing it just once, but several times in row. Badd could remember his voice became hoarse from a lots of screaming or moaning loudly during making love.

At some point in their hottest climax moments, they transform halfway into their other form, with Badd sprouting his wide leathery BlackBat wings which would enveloping his own body or their bodies, depending on their position, and Garou turned into his Monstrous Werewolf form which made the mating sessions getting more intense than before. In the end, they just laying together on the forest floor, cuddling closely while sometimes they shared radiant joyful smiles to each other because now they're officially became Mates.

Badd smiled happily at the sweet memories. Next, he remembered their initiation ceremony from Bang and the pack members where both of them became co-leaders, followed by his pregnancy period which was hilarious because watching Garou gets all overprotective as husband and soon-to-be father was kind of funny yet very endearing for him. But, the most happiest moment in their life, is when Gaman was born.

His beautiful little baby boy, his own flesh and blood, the fruit of Garou's and his love, the miracle of their life, the boy who always make him very proud and feel happy everyday, the boy he swore to protect forever along with Garou no matter what happen. Badd never expected before back then when he was young that he will have a child, let alone a hybrid child who he birthed himself from his womb. But he didn't regreted it for a bit, it's a truly great experience for his motherhood (or fatherhood?).

Gaman always reminded Badd of himself because his overall appearance is technically carbon copy from Badd, he's like a mini Badd clone. But Gaman's attitude and mannerism really reminded him of Garou, not to mention that his intelligence and his martial arts learning skills also rivaled his dad. He's so talented and Badd is very proud of him for it. Now he could see why Gaman is really his and Garou's love child, it's so adorable whenever he thinks about it.

Speaking of love child, he also noticed that as a hybrid Gaman had combination characteristics between werewolf and vampire. For now Gaman still in his normal state, he doesn't have a transformation form yet. But even if he couldn't transform it's still be okay, they will love him nonetheless, no matter what.

To defend himself, Garou trained Gaman himself his own perfected werewolf martial arts so he could use it if there's any fight he encountered someday, not that Garou will ever let that happen to Gaman, tbh. Badd took part of it by teaching Gaman his vampire hunting abilities to sharpen his instinct, while also trained Gaman to control his fighting spirit so he could activate it when he's in battle situation. Now Badd understand the reason why he had Fighting Spirit glowing mode back then in pregnancy days: it was coming from Gaman's influence who somehow could enhanced Badd's Fighting Spirit.

A knock from outside waiting room's door bring him back to reality. It seems the trial will begin soon, so they have to escort him into the court room right now. Sharing a knowing look with Zenko, he immediately hugged her tightly. Hoping all of this situation will be alright and he could be free from any punishment in the end. Zenko promised that she will helping Badd with all of her capabilities and competences to defend Badd during the trial until reinforcement from pack family alliances coming to the Vampire Council Fortress.

Moved to tears by his dear little sister strong determination, Badd kissing Zenko's forehead and hugged her once again, grateful that she always be there for him. The royal guards handcuffing his wrists before instructed him to come with them walking towards the court room. Taking a deep breath, he prepared his heart and mind for his trial.

Those entire flashback moment is my self-indulge on writing Batarou soft and lovely scenes, and just extended version at re-telling of what I wrote on origin story when they have just met, lol. Forgive me plz 😁

I just love to imagine when they're in the middle of "mating ritual", especially when they're doing it with both of them transformed: Badd with his beautiful BlackBat vampire wings making love with Garou while he's in Alpha Werewolf form! Ooh Badd, are you secretly a furry? 😂

But either making love with Garou in regular form or werewolf form, it's still kinda HOT for him, btw! Because they're very intimate with each other as Mates, ofc.. 👀💦🔥🔥

The next part is Badd's trial with Zenko as his witness, but I promise they will be fine. Just warning for Amai's usual super duper douchebag-ness in here, other than that everything is okay 😅

Already past midnight, Garou and Badd decided to end their date night and returned to their family again in Bang's room. On the way walking back to the Imperial Palace, Garou found some of his subordinates still sitting around the bonfire at the Palace Garden. They're chatting with fellow pack members or with their vampire companions who still wanted to know more about them. The others already moved out to the Fortress building to find a better temporary place for sleeping so they wont crowding the Palace, while the ones who still not recovered enough from their injuries went back into the Imperial Palace to get more medical treatment.

 Knowing Garou and Badd were passing by, they give salutation for them and then greet their co-leaders, asking why both of them didn't join the dinner feast with the rest of the packs. Garou just chuckling while pulled Badd more closer to him by encircled his arm around Badd's waist and pecking his cheek (which got a protest from flustered Badd) and said to his pack members jokingly that they've just had "a night to remember" together in some private place. All were groaning exasperatedly hearing Garou's answer, regreting why they asked in the first place.

 Joking aside, Garou reminded them all to prepare for the important funeral ceremony in the morning. He suggested that they should get some rest by now, so there will be absolutely noone who are still sleepy once the ceremony begin. Fully understanding what Garou meant, they're compliant to his order and everyone immediately prepared to go resting. Glad his subordinate obeyed the order, Garou bid a goodnight for them all before continued walking into the Palace with Badd.

 Entering Bang's room, they found their family already sleeping despite all of them are night creatures. Maybe because of exhaustion from battling or working all day, and also stomach full of food always made you sleepy. Badd saw Gaman was sleeping beside Bang on the bed, their bodies already enveloped with warm cotton blanket, while mantled Bomb slumped on the wooden chair next to Bang's bed. Zenko already in deep slumber over the cozy velvet couch, cocooned within soft cashmere blanket. Tareo was fallen asleep during scribbling down his medical journal on the cushioned armchair across the couch, a throw blanket covered the lower part of his body.

 Garou patted Badd's shoulder then pointing at the two feather pillows and a large high quality wool blanket on the big carpet near the window. Seems like Zenko had prepared it all for them before she went to sleep, she's truly the best lil sister! Already sprawled over the carpet, Garou teasingly invited Badd to cuddling inside the blanket with him, complete with his naughty wink. That alone made Badd rolled his eyes, but also earned his amused chuckle. His husband always like this since he came to Garou's life, even back then before being Mates. Of course it's just platonic cuddling at first, but once they've become Mates...

 Oh nonono, Badd wont thinking about it right now. Garou already promised to him that no matter how tempting it is, no sexy times in a room full of family members. Badd took his black jacket and the red turtleneck off him then folded them neatly beside him, because he didn't bring some change clothes or pajamas so he'll sleep bare chested. Badd could feel Garou intensely staring at his toned muscled body from behind, admiring him in a way that made Badd thinks he's in the middle of being devored by a pair of hungry wolf eyes.

 Turned his head around to check, yes, Garou was thirstying him again. Knowing how horny his husband usually was, Badd just pointing his index finger in front of Garou then tsk-tsked him as reminder of no funny business here, and he meant it seriously. Garou made a pouting face jokingly for a second then just smiling softly, opened his arms so Badd could slot himself into his embrace. Not wasting any time, Badd put his own pillow closer to Garou's and laid beside him, shifting even more closer until their skin flushed against each other's. Garou quickly enveloped Badd in wool blanket, then encircled Badd's waist so he could snuggle inside his embrace comfortably.

 Badd sighed happily, finally he could resting his body after all the fighting the entire day. Plus, now his wish for be able to sleeping beside his husband once again after survived from the punishment is already granted. Badd nuzzled Garou's neck happily, which Garou responded with kissing his forehead tenderly then continue to peppering kisses on his eyelids and cheeks. Then Garou whispering Badd's name and asked him to open his eyes, only to find that Garou has been gazing at him adoringly.

 Even though he's not saying anything more, Badd could see what Garou meant to say just from looking at his golden eyes: "I'm so grateful to have you beside me again", "I want to appreciate you more in my life from now on", "You're half of my soul, I don't wanna lose you again". And finally, when Garou caressing his cheek with his hand, that mesmerizing golden eyes glistened with tears, as if he wanted to say: "I love you, Badd, so much. Please stay with me forever".

 Seeing how much Garou is so enamored of him, Badd really wanted to return his affection, too. He cupped Garou's cheeks then pulling him closer until their lips met and locked in a heartfelt kiss. Badd poured his heart contents out into the kiss so Garou could understand that he feel exactly same for him, that Garou meant so much to him, too. Although it's just a brief kiss compared from what they usually do, it felt thoughful and sincere. No word was needed to convey their whole feelings for each other.

 Smiling fondly, Badd whispered a "Good Night" to Garou who replied him by kissing the top of his head, while tightening their embrace. Not too long, they're finally fell asleep together in each other arms, with happy and satisfied smile still remained on their lips. At least Badd and Garou still enjoyed their happy moment together before they have to attend mournful event in the next morning.

 The sun is still not rising, but the werewolves have already awake before dawn. They prepared so early to dug up the ground that will be used for the burial of their fallen comrades in the Memorial Cemetery, which they were given permission to use it by the royal family. Garou, Bang, and Bomb also already woke up while the rest of family are still sleeping, because as Leaders they must participate on the funeral preparation. Garou, who's ready to go along with Bang and Bomb, planted a kiss on the still asleep Gaman's forehead and a kiss on the equally asleep Badd's lips. He'd already told his plan to Badd last night, so he's sure Badd will understand his absent in the room. Ruffling Badd's wild hair while giving one more kiss on his forehead, Garou leaving the room.

 The Memorial Cemetery is on the west wing of Vampire Council Fortress, where usually the important figures from royal family or anyone who were deemed as heroes in Vampire Order. Now that the werewolves tribes had just gained trust from the Vampire Order, they offered both the honoured place and the special service for the werewolves tribes as their gratitude. From a night before, Garou instructed his packs alliances to be divided into two groups: first group working on preparing the burial sites on the Cemetery, then the second group bringing the bodies of their fallen heroes to the Cemetery together. The first group must departed much more earlier to go there than the other group, so when the second group arrived the burial sites were already prepared.

 All of the Pack Leaders joined the first group, because it's the part of their responsibility as a leader to give or provide the proper funeral for their packs members after sending them into the battlefield. Garou helping the others in his group digging up the burial sites as fast as possible before the sun rising higher in the sky, as the another group still waiting for them in the Fortress until further notice. The second group duty is to place the body into the casket that already being provided by the royal family last night.

 If the first group finished their duty in cemetery, the second group could start the funeral ceremony by marching to bring all the caskets together towards the Memorial cemetery. They're also accompanied by the royal family and the vampire community who wanted to attend the funeral to honour the fallen heroes. The werewolves packs alliances requested a more humbled funeral ceremony, so the royal family didn't have to prepare the usual formal procedure requirements like carriages or the whole armed soldier forces.

 One hour later nearly at dawn, Badd and everyone else who didn't join the funeral preparation just got up from their sleep. It was Gaman who wake him up, asking where Dad Garou, Grandpa Bang, and Grandpa Bomb were going at. Badd immediately got up and checked his surrounding, and Gaman is right, they're gone already. But he remembered what Garou had said last night and sighed in relief, then saying to Gaman that they all should get ready to go on morning mourning ceremony.

 This got fast response from Zenko who's already prepared herself to go, while Tareo still in the middle of cleaning the room before they go together. She said Badd was too deep in his sleep that he didn't hear Zenko already tried to wake him up minutes ago. So she asked Gaman to wake him up instead. Badd sheepishly apologized to Zenko for being unresponsible brother. Then he quickly prepared himself to look more presentable while assisting Gaman, too. They wore a black hooded mantle robe that the royal family provided before as a funeral mourners' uniform, also to protect them from morning rays. A few minutes later, they're ready to go together first at the Vampire Council Fortress' frontyard with the rest of mourners.

 When they arrived there, the royal family with the rest of Vampire Council member who sided with royal family, also many of the vampire civilian people already gathered surounding the Fortress' frontyard. All of them wearing the same black mantle robe. On the middle of frontyard, all of the caskets that contained the body of werewolf heroes neatly lined up laying in the ruined grass field. Whereas the rest of werewolf packs alliances who's in the second group waiting solemly on the sidelines, ready to carry on their next duty as pallbearers as soon as there's instruction coming from the first group.

 Everyone was mourning, a few of them crying quietly, for they had lost their beloved family, friends, fellow warriors, or colleagues in the last battle. And this time they must letting them go as their final farewell to all the members who lost their life dedicating themself to finish the dangerous mission. All the heroes' services when they were still alive will be remembered forever in their heart.

 Also their sacrifice wont be in vain, for they brought peace. A change for both werewolves tribes and vampire race working together in harmony. To unify them into one big family as fellow supernatural beings. To end the cycle of hate that often caused wars and fights, and to end the bitter rivalry on deciding superiority between them. All is gone by now, replaced by warm welcoming to have a new life together for the better future.

 Badd feels like he wanted to cry by now, these entire grieving atmospheres reminded him about their own deceased family. But the difference was that he had no time for mourning because he must saved little Zenko at that moment, and there's no official funeral whatsoever. Not to mention they're being forgotten by all the vampire communities. It hurted Badd so much that nothing was left behind from his family, even he couldn't properly mourning in their graves because there's no graves for any of them from the beginning.

 Couldn't hold back his sadness anymore, Badd pulled his hoodie up to hide his tears streaked face. He let out quiet sobs and sniffling voices. If only his late family got the same proper funeral ceremony like this...

 Zenko immediately leaning closer to Badd and give him one armed hug from beside him. Her anguished face showed that she felt the same as what his big brother was feeling right now, because she also suffering along with Badd back then. Gaman, who sensed his father was in sorrow, hugged his father tightly, whispering to him that he will be alright because he's still have them now: Father Badd's current family and the werewolf packs family. He ensured that all of them were also loving him dearly. Tareo also joined them, patted his co-leader's back in sympathy. Even though their past history was different, Badd as orphaned kid and him as abandoned runt, he still could understand Badd's circumstance.

 It was at dawn when the first group's messenger relayed the information that the funeral ceremony can begin now, for the preparation on the Memorial cemetery has been finished. The mourners pulled their hoodies up, the pallbearers started to lift the caskets and form a line. All of them were ready to march towards the Memorial cemetery.

 Badd and his family were in the front line leading the funeral march, because it's his duty as a responsible co-leader of the packs. He was the one who sent them all into the battlefield in the first place, so this time he also should be the one who escorted them to their last resting place. As the form of gratitude from a leader, a friend, a fellow warrior, and a family member. The pallbearers who lifted the caskets were queued behind Badd's family, lined up orderly, while the rest werewolves alliance members accompanied them from both side. The mourners consists of the royal family, Vampire Council members, and the vampires communities were followed behind the pallbearers. They wanted to participate the whole funeral procession until the end to honour the heroic acts of the fallen werewolves warriors.

 They're marching together in silence, every steps reminded them of the happy memories they'd spent in the past with their departed friends, made it harder to move forward. The main funeral ceremony hasn't started yet, but the sorrowful atmosphere feels more and more unbearable. They must hold their tears at least until they're arrived on the Cemetery area. Badd wished Garou was beside him right now, so he could leaned onto him during the march to seek some comfort in the gloomy situation like this. As soon as Badd finished his duty on leading the funeral march, he will quickly searching for Garou and run into him.

 Suddenly Gaman touched his hand then grabbed his fingers, a gesture Badd knows very well that it means Gaman asked for a hand holding. Automatically, he wrapped Gaman's hand with his hand, his son's smaller hand warming up his colder one. It's very comforting to him and reduce his hidden anxiety during the procession. Same as Garou, Gaman really knows how to cheer Badd up whenever he's sad. He will giving every single affection a son could give to their father, and all of them worked excellently. Feeling happiness crept back to his cold heart, he smiled faintly. Thanks to Gaman, now he gained his strength again to carry on the procession.

 They finally arrived on the Memorial cemetery gate. Badd could see the first group already stand-by on the burial sites, Garou was one among them. As soon as the pallbearers and the mourners entered cemetery, the first group immediately assisting the pallbearers to put the caskets down into each burial sites. After all the caskets being placed in, they're back into their previous position to wait for next instruction. Besides, the werewolves alliances representative and the vampire community representative, each of them wished to deliver an eulogy for the fallen heroes.

 Garou was the chosen representative for the werewolves alliances. Whereas The Queen, who also attended the funeral ceremony along with her royal family, was the representative for both Vampire Order and vampire communities. She wanted to speak directly to the werewolves alliances herself, as the crowned head of Vampire Order and just herself as a vampire.

 Garou began his speech about the first time he got himself a pack from his former Alpha leader. Garou was confused at how to lead a pack because previously he's just a lone rogue werewolf who separated himself from his former pack for a long time. Although his pack members already accepted him fully as their leader, Garou still think he must gained some leadership skills so he could be a proper Alpha Werewolf Leader. Thanks to his vampire Mate, who he shared same position with, he got confidence and years later he successfully became a respectable and dignified Alpha Leader among the werewolves tribes.

 Since then, he's getting so many friends and colleagues from diplomatic meeting inter-territories, also gained more followers who later joined his packs, his subordinates being a caring family to him. Garou was so grateful to meet them. In this war, he lost half of his friends and subordinates. Of course Garou didn't regret his choice to make them following him into the battlefield, for they wholeheartedly willing to help him. He just have one regret: not be able to spend more time again with them. Wherever the place they're at now, Garou hopes they're also happy in there. He stepped back to let the Queen deliver her speech.

 The Queen began the speech, said that in truth the Vampire Order already become tired for the neverending wars between them and werewolves tribes that last for centuries. They thought werewolves are the most rude or barbaric people. But the very shocking event from previous day proved that the most rotten beings was actually their own kind, who wont hesitate to trample others for their egotistic ambition. On the other hand, the werewolves tribes were the one who helped them unconditionally, ready to protect them and willing to lend a hand if they need some help. Proving that they're natural kindhearted people.

 That facts brought a huge shame among the vampire communities, for so long misjudged the werewolves tribes and disregard them as the lowest social class. Now, they wanted to make amends for what they have done to them after these years, and they're very grateful that the werewolves tribes willing to accept their wish to build a friendship together. This is why the vampire communities along with all the royal family attended the funeral ceremony, to honour the fallen heroes, and also to show compassion towards the werewolves alliances who saved them.

 She wished the heroes' souls will be resting at peace at wherever they're now, and be happy knowing their great services will be remembered forever in the hearts of werewolves tribes and vampire communities. And in the future, she and the rest of vampire communities hopes that both werewolves and vampires could getting along and coexist together without discriminating each other. With that speech, the Queen ended the eulogy and allowed them to start burying the caskets.

 When the werewolves alliances buried the fallen heroes' grave together, suddenly the mourners from vampire's side come joined them helping the burial procession. They said that they wanted to show gratitude as a civilians who had been protected by the werewolves warriors before. They hoped these acts will be enough for the vampire communities to pay a deep respect to all the heroes, and to return the favor as a peace offering. Hearing the genuine reasoning from the vampire communities, the werewolves alliances members happily accepting their help.

 So they worked together finishing the funeral ceremony procession, the scenery itself made everyone touched by their teamwork. Just a small act, but meant so much for them and their future. It brought the Queen to tears, thinking that they should do it from long time ago. Because she's already weary from any useless conflicts that happen from both sides. And she should give more attention to Badd, who she knew since Badd was a baby and both of his parents were still alive. She regretted for neglecting him after these years, maybe after the ceremony ended she could talk to him again.

 Finished the burial procession and placing the tombstones, now it's time for them to give a moment of silence together. Everyone was bowing their heads while giving silent prayers, nobody was speaking or moving during that time. After a few minutes in silence, they ended the ceremony with the mourners scattering flowers on atop surface of the graves, made them looked more beautiful. One by one they left to come back to Fortress again, while some others wanted to stay a bit longer in the cemetery to mourn more freely in private.

 Garou was also the ones who wanted to stay in the cemetery for a few minutes. He told Bomb and Bang first, so they'd know when Garou will return. They brought Zenko and Tareo, while Gaman insisted he will accompanied his father who of course also wanted to accompany his dad. So, those three still lingering around in cemetery. Badd saw Garou crouching down on the corner sections of the cemetery, where it's the location of the graves complex for Garou's own subordinates and friends.

 While handholding Gaman, Badd come approaching Garou. Standing close behind him, they realized Garou was mourning for his departed subordinates. Even though Garou wasn't crying, Badd knew very well he's deep in sorrow just from the look of his frowned expression and glistening eyes. Garou said while it's true he didn't regret his decision to bring all his friends into this war, doesn't mean that he wouldn't be sad losing them. He would missed them terribly once they go back to home. Garou couldn't show this weak side in public like before, so right now he made sure nobody else saw him like this. He didn't want them worried for him.

 Immediately Badd and Gaman were draped all over Garou, hugging him as a way to give some comfort and support. Gaman said that of course Gaman would also missed all the uncles who usually played with him, but Gaman sure they're in happy place now and also would be in joy knowing they're will be remembered as the brave heroes. Badd said softly to Garou that he's not alone on griefing from losing people they loved, for Badd experienced it twice already by now. It's totally okay to feel sad and doesn't want to show it to the other people, but don't forget that Garou has his own family who's always be there to support him. So he wont be truly alone.

 Touched by his son's and Mate's words, Garou returned the hug and readjusted their position so both of them fit in his embrace. He kissed the top of Gaman's head and Badd's forehead then ruffled their hair fondly, saying thank you for being the constant moral support for him. Gaman only hummed happily while hiding his face on the crook of Garou's neck. Badd cupped Garou's cheek and nuzzled their noses together in eskimo kisses, said that it was the part of their love vow, to accompany each other both in sadness and happiness. So as a caring Mate, Badd will do anything to make Garou feel loved in any condition.

 To end his speech, Badd kissed Garou tenderly on the lips. Showing how much he loved this man, and how he can't bear to see him in sorrow. Finally released their brief kiss, Badd leaned his head on Garou's shoulder while Garou still wont letting go his embrace. Garou was so happy he still has a caring family, and he understand that he must moving forward for the rest of pack family members who still alive. He wont dwell in sadness for too long and instead turned it into a new motivation to be a better leader than before, so he wont be losing any of them anymore.

 Already got a new determination, Garou sat up from his position and decided that it's time for him and the entire of werewolf packs members alliances to return home. But first they should ask permission from the royal family before they leave the Palace, then after that they could go back to home together. Nodded in agreement, Gaman and Badd following Garou back to the Palace. They walking together holding hands side by side, with Gaman walked in between of his parents holding each of their hand.

 To erase the somber atmosphere they got from funeral ceremony, Garou wanted to be a bit playful with his family. He turned to Gaman and picked him up, earning a laughter from Gaman, before settled him on his shoulder so Gaman could ride on it. Garou knew it's Gaman's favorite thing to do everytime they all take a stroll together in the woods, never fails to put Gaman in cheerful mood. And this way, he could takes hold of his Mate's hand.

 Badd noticed Garou reaching his hand and holding it tightly with his caloused warm hand, lacing his fingers into Badd's. Knowing Garou's purpose, Badd gladly accept his invitation to entwined their fingers together. It was pleasing way for Badd to show affection between them, simple yet very effective. Badd's heart skips a beat whenever he felt Garou's fingers caressing his hands softly while he gives an adoring smile for him at the same time. Successfully made Badd blushing brightly, he felt like he's melting under the gentle gaze from Garou.

 As a response, Badd moved more closer to Garou, grabbing Garou's arm with his free hand, and leaning his head onto it while still holding hands. He purred in perfect bliss. Never thought that a walk from funeral could be this happy, thanks to his dear husband who always have clever ways to make him feel happy again. They enjoyed the rest of their journey back towards the Palace in contentment.

 After the family finally arrived at the Imperial Palace's gate, they saw several of Garou's subordinates waiting for them outside the gate. It seems they're waiting there for their arrival to deliver some messages for him. Garou asked what and whom the message was delivered from. They answered that all of Garou's family member has been invited by the Queen herself, she waited for their presence in the main hall of the Palace. Still didn't know exactly for what purpose the Queen inviting them, but all the other family members has already went to the main hall.

 Setting Gaman down to the ground again, Garou turned to face Badd only to find his confused expression. He just shrugged his shoulders, wondering what business the Queen had for them. Gaman told his parents that they should just go right away, so everyone wont be waiting for too long. Agreed with their son, Garou and Badd along with Gaman immediately walking through the gate towards the main entrance of the Imperial Palace. But before they could entered the Palace, two of royal guards stopped them briefly to present the official garments that Vampire Council members usually wear while on duty. It's a simple purple-colored velvet robes, with royal family insignia on the left chest, showed that the Council serving under the royal family.

 The guards instructed them to wear it before the ceremony begin. That information surprised Badd, because from what he heard from the royal family yesterday there's no more ceremony other than the funeral. The puzzled-looking Garou asked him if he knows something about this, Badd only shaking his head in confusion. So after three of them wore the robes, the guards opened the main entrance door of the Palace.

 From what Badd witnessed from the doorway was the already cleaned up main hall, all of the Vampire Council members (minus the pureblood traitors members, they've already discharged since the end of the war) along with the royal family members were gathered together on each sides of the Queen's throne. And the most important was, all of the werewolves alliances members also there, gathered on both sides of the main hall, only been separated by a long red carpet in the middle of the hall. Even his own family was lined up in front of the throne: Zenko, Tareo, Bang, and Bomb, they're wearing the same robes as they currently wore.

 Not wanting to waste time, Garou decided to walking on the red carpet first, followed by Badd who's hand holding Gaman beside him. During the walk, Badd looking around their surrounding: their werewolves alliances members' proud and happy expression, many of them wavering hands on Garou and his direction, or giving thumbs up in support (support for what? he still doesn't know). They stopped briefly when Bang and Bomb each rearrange the line by shifted aside to made three of them standing exactly in the middle of the line. Then the ceremony begin.

 One of the Vampire Council member as the representative from royal family announced, that the seven of them will be receiving honorary awards from the Queen for their services and bravery in the last battle, also for saving the royal family members and the civillian people. Additionally, each of them will also receiving a new status as honorary member of the Vampire Council from werewolves tribes side, in the hope both of the sides will establish cooperative relationship. As soon as the speech ended, the Queen stepped down from her throne to give Garou's family the awards herself. It was a badge with the Council Member insignia, which will be pinned on the left chest of recipient.

 One by one, each one of them receiving the badge from the Queen. And after the procession was finished, the Queen announced herself that she will give special honorary awards for Garou and Badd. Both of them were surprised hearing about that information, but it seems like everyone else already know it. Had it been informed and instructed before they come in here? If that's the case, maybe they just should returned much sooner.

 The Queen approached Garou with kindhearted smile, saying that she's very thankful of him for aiding and protecting the vampire communities during the war. She wasn't expected the werewolves alliances would be willing to help them from the treacherous vampire assassin army, because she thought they already accomplished their mission to save Badd. But she's extremely happy that the alliances did also helping the others, even if it's their supposed natural sworn enemies. It's really touched her heart that it was the sworn enemies who actually saved her people from the threat that caused by her own kin who had malice intent.

 That's why, she will awarding Garou an important position in Vampire Order, as honorary member of both on Council like she gives him before, and also as honorary member of royal family, directly becomes the first branch family of werewolves tribes for them. The reason is because Badd's departed family was included to royal family with high rank position, so with Garou married with Badd it'd made him also included into the new royal family member.

 The Queen allowed Garou to work with Vampire Order as an Official Spokesperson for the werewolves tribes. He can accomodate things such as every opinions from the werewolves' side, requests for some problem solving, or even constructive criticisms towards the Order, he could deliver it all to the Council Fortress to discussed together with the rest of the members. If there's something urgent or really important, or just want to visit the royal family personally, he has the rights to come to the Imperial Palace whenever he wants. He even can bring his family to have picnic in the Palace's Private Recreational Garden. She's more than happy to accept their presence here.

 To officiate the newly acquired position, the Queen gives Garou a medal with Royal Family insignia engraved on it, pinned it on the side of Council Member badge that he received before. As soon as she finished the awarding, the Queen shake her hands with Garou, then giving a pat on his shoulder in approval for becoming a newly member of her family. When he thanked her for her kindness, she just smiling warmly and saying he didn't have to, for it's all he deserved.

 Then it's Badd's turn to be awarded by the Queen. But before that, she wanted to say something first to him. She apologized for everything the vampire communities did to Badd, his late family and his current own family. She's deeply regreted why didn't she reached for him immediately after the massacre happened, or even quickly preventing it long before that. And to know the shocking truth behind of the tragedy, it pained her heart immensely for her own ignorance towards Badd's family. If only she just follow her heart and didn't have to listen the traitorous clan's covered story, maybe she could save him more earlier.

 Couldn't hold her tears anymore, the Queen hugged Badd tightly and weeping quietly in his shoulder. It surprised everyone in the hall, included many Council member and her royal family. They attempting to console her but she asked them to let her finished apologizing properly to Badd. Badd got shocked by this but didn't know what should he do at the moment, he just freezed. Gaman who's standing beside Badd also slightly puzzled by the Queen's outburst. But even though Gaman hadn't fully understand about what happened right now, he could feel the sincerity from the Queen's words. She really wanted to ask forgiveness from his father, despite her position as a Highest Ruler in the monarch.

 In between her small sobs, the Queen repeated "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, my dear child" to Badd. The boy who she regarded as her nephew since he's a little baby, because both of his parents were her childhood best friends and she adored all of their family clan members. How could she herself letting that tragedy happening upon them that day and also didn't checked if there's any survivor from it. She's terribly sorry for not reaching for Badd and lending a hand for help soon after he survived, instead of abandoned him on his own fate. She definitely could help but she did nothing.

 And it ashamed her that the one willing to help him wasn't from their own kin, instead an actual kindhearted werewolf who's supposed to be a vampire enemy. Even so, she's happy for Badd that he decided to built himself a family with his saviour, despite of their difference. And she gives them full blessing after knowing the entire truth from yesterday. Now that the real truth already spilled, she will take her chance to make amends to Badd. Understand the Queen's sincere apology, Badd said he's of course already forgiving her. Besides, the ones who were truly responsible for his misery has already been taken care by his family, the werewolves alliances and the royal family's justice enforcer. So he's no longer suffering anymore.

 Releasing her hug while wiping her remaining tears, she stand proudly before Badd. She declared that Badd will be the new official member of Royal Family, and he'll assigned for two important jobs. Firstly, as the remained Fighter Vampire from the extinct tame vampire family clan, he'll be the Queen's Special Royal Guard. The job is to lead the entire royal guards in the Palace, and his presence will be required whenever the royal family needs a strong protection.

 Secondly, as the peace maker between the vampire race and werewolves tribes, also a successful co-leader of the most influential werewolf packs, he'll be an Official Ambassador for the werewolves tribes. The job is to become a conciliator between vampire race and werewolf tribes, using his leadership and diplomacy skills. Because he knows more about werewolf world and understand them better than any vampire could do. Those skills will be needed for the Vampire Order in the Council.

 To officiate the raised status and new positions, the Queen gives Badd a medal with Royal Family insignia and also a Royal Guard badge, both were pinned on the side of Council Member badge that he received before. Finally finished the awarding, the Queen hugged Badd once more, thanking him for forgiving her grave mistake. The Queen said if he and his family need something from her, just ask her or come to visit the Palace. All of her family will accept their visit anytime. Patting Badd's cheek with her hands, she said that he's a good man, a good leader, and also a good father, too. She's really proud of him, for he has the same strong determination, just like what his parents were. The Queen's words about his parents made Badd smiling happily, at least now he knows they're not completely being forgotten anymore.

 It was soon after the Queen spoke with Badd, she noticed the little boy who stood beside Badd that looked so much like Badd's mini-me. She realized this is must be his son, the Werewolf-Vampire hybrid child, the miracle boy. The love child between Badd and his werewolf Mate who he loves so dearly despite the social taboo. The brave kid that fighting for both of his parents and his whole family. The hybrid child who amazed her people with his beautiful appearance and incredible talent. Badd must be very proud of his son. With a benignant smile, the Queen approached Gaman and crouched down before him to meet his height so they could interacted more comfortably.

 She asked him if he's really the one who saved Badd in the court room. Gaman unhesitantly answered yes, he's indeed the one who released his father, and then his dad quickly protected him. The Queen smiled, then asked more about if it's true that his transformation as a hybrid was triggered by the feeling to protect his family, then also immediately activated the "Fighting Spirit". Gaman said all were true, he's finally could unlocked his new power to transform into his Werewolf-Vampire hybrid after he's thinking about the safety of his family. He didn't want them suffering or in danger, and he also didn't to lose any of them, especially his parents who always protected him. That's why Gaman wanted to return their affection by trying to protect them, too. Because Gaman loves both of his parents so much.

 Badd was nearly in tears hearing such touching confession from his own son, also proud that Gaman is really could proved what he intended to do perfectly. Just like when they're fighting together. The Queen reached for Gaman, caressing his face, while saying that all of what Gaman did was exactly the same as what his grandparents did back then. She knew because she also saw what their clan could do to protect their family, and it was amazing. Also, even though she haven't seen how Badd's fighting was like, but listening many stories from her people and Gaman confession before, she was sure Gaman also did the same as his father do.

 That power was inherited through the family clan lineage. But it doesn't limited to just their family members only, actually it could be learned by everyone who shares the same determination like theirs. This secret was what Gaman's grandmother said to him a long time ago. The moment Queen confirned about this, Garou feels validated for obtaining the same power as Badd by having the same purpose and the strong determination. Gaman was in awe after the Queen revealing the unknown story about his grandparents. His father surely had already telling him all about his grandparents, but he never know these stories before.

 Gaman turned his head to Badd, he didn't say anything but his eyes shone as if asking if the stories was true or not. Badd nodded his head in agreement, giving a confirmation that it's true indeed. Gaman turned back to the Queen, showing his awestruck expression to her. The Queen giggled, saying that if his grandparents saw how incredible their grandson is, they must be very proud and happy. She was sure of it. Then the Queen hugged Gaman very tenderly, while saying a thank you for saving Badd and helping his family, also for protecting her people especially the innocent civillians from the pureblood assassin vampire army's invasion. She thanked him from the bottom of her heart, for being a good kid.

 And about his status about hybrid child, she thinks it was a miracle that happened among supernatural beings in their world, for it never occured before. This was the first time she knows about the existence of a hybrid, the result from a mating between a werewolf and a vampire, the very intense one. Showing how much love was shared between them. Badd who heard it all was only blushing and hid his face with his hands, while Garou was smirking all the way, finding it's amusing to see someone discussed their love life in public.

 The Queen continued explaining that on the other hand, Gaman will be the new hope for both of the sides, a symbol that there's no barrier wall between them to love each other anymore, for erasing any reason to be hateful for each other, for having a good life together, to set aside the differences so they could helping each other, to make a peace. She wished Gaman could lead them to the better future where the vampire race and werewolves tribes coexist together in a peaceful way. No more hate, fighting, battle, or war anymore. Only tolerating and loving each other as one family. She's sure Gaman could do that someday, become a good leader, just like what both of his parents do.

 That's way she's really appreciated Gaman's existence in this world, there's no reason to hate such adorable yet amazing child like him. Indeed, even though she hasn't seen it yet, from what her family told to her before, his hybrid form was really beautiful. Totally different from what people assumed before. Plus, he inherited both of his parent's traits, made him nearly invulnerable. With a right guidance and training to polish all if his potential power, she believed that Gaman will a great Fighter Hybrid in the future. It sounds nice, she can't wait to see it. As a part of royal family, Gaman could visit her anytime he wanted to play in this Palace. And he didn't have to call her name by Queen, just Granny or Grand Auntie. She's smiling adoringly to him.

 After that, the Queen kissed his forehead and hugged him once more. Then she stand up again to give standing ovation for Garou's family and his werewolves packs alliances. Everyone following the Queen's instruction and joined to give applause for them. The clapping sounds and cheering voices echoed in the main hall, nothing but approval was heard, everyone seemed to appreciating them sincerely. Badd's heart was swelled from happiness, he didn't think that the day where he was remembered not as an abomination and his family got recognization finally comes. He felt his eyes glistened with tears again, why is he becomes so emotional lately? He want to cry so bad.

 Badd felt a pair of strong arms enveloping him from behind, without even seeing who is it Badd already know it's his husband. Garou kissing his temple and whispering a congratulatory words into his ear, praising Badd with his soft husky voices before kissing his cheek lovingly. He instantly melt under Garou's touch and embrace, and his voice... He should banned Garou to use that sinful voices of him in public. Don't wanna pop an awkward boner in a room full of royal family and their own people, not to mention also in front of their innocent child! Damnit Garou, why he always choose the wrong time to seduce him?

 Still being embraced from behind by Garou, Badd wanted to stop him from doing any innapropriate things during this formal event. But before he managed to do it, Garou reached Badd's cheek, caressing it and then turned his head slightly to the side to kiss him fully on the lips. A more louder cheering sounds could be heard in unison with howling and shouting in glee. Badd wanted to shove Garou out from him quickly, but his kiss was so good he found himself humming into the kiss and start whimpering. That sounds instantly made Gaman closed his eyes tightly and blocked his ears with both of his hands, so he wont suffering the permanent mental damage. Badd think maybe the Queen will forgive him for doing PDA in her Palace, just one more kiss again. And he hoped Gaman will forgive him for being super gross with his dad again.

 Among the cacophonous cheering noises in there, he could heard some familiar voice protested, "Aaaah they're doing it again! Please stop, I'm gonna end them right now!". O-ow, that must be Zenko. Better be safe than facing her rage. Badd immediately shoved Garou out of his way to dodge Zenko's dangerous strike attack. Her face was reddened with embarassment, she complained why did she has an indecent big brother like him. Badd weakly retaliated that it was entirely Garou's fault and not him, while still trying to dodge her attacks. Then she unexpectedly glomped Badd, then delivering a congratulatory words to him, too. She's really proud and happy for him, that he finally achieved what he wanted for so long, getting recognised after being abandoned. And she will supports him no matter what.

 Badd was moved by Zenko's speech, this day is totally his emotional day. He hugged his dear little sister, saying that he becomes what he is now, all because of Garou. If he didn't save him back then, he wont be here today. Badd was looking at his husband and his little boy, both of them have a matched grinning smile that directed to him. Garou carried Gaman in his hold then walking towards the vampire siblings, joining in a group hug, although Zenko protested Garou because of his sickeningly sweet PDA before. Gaman asked Badd to hold him too in the middle, which Badd was more than happy to compliant. Then Tareo and more of their subordinates comes in to greet and compliments their bosses, surrounding their group hug. Bang and Bomb only shake their head in wonder, this is the reason why too many werewolves crowding together in a room wasn't good: they're so damn loud.

 The Vampire Council members were flabbergasted witnessing the noisy crowd in front of their eyes, while the family members were just amused because it intrigued them seeing the laid back and merrier side of the werewolves tribes. The Queen herself letting out a warm laughs watching the boys getting swarmed by their packs members. She's happy that now Badd surrounded by many people who cares for him, that he wont be alone again. Not to mention Badd found himself a loving husband and had a child together with him. It seems they will be okay, no more tragedy for them again. She wished the best for them.

 It's on late afternoon, Garou's family packs members and the whole alliances were ready to go home. They bid a goodbye to the Queen and the royal family, who were gathering together on the Fortress frontyard to give them the send-off. There were many civillians who also participate in the send-off, asking them to come visiting again.

 Badd was in the middle of packing his things, like his weapon and the gifts from the Queen, when he witnessing something hilarious. There's his werewolves subordinates he knows not-so-secretly dating the vampires civillians, one of them was the subordinate who get cockblocked by Garou last night. Some of them sharing a loving look and sweet promises to their lover before departing (that's so sweet, reminded him a lot of Garou and himself), some giving a longing hug and a bit of sad tears (poor young vampire, Badd shaking his head), and then there's some who share a passionate kiss and even making out in public (good lord why this feels deja vu! oh it's the cockblocked one again, damnit). Badd only hopes that none of his subordinates kidnapping any of their lover.

 Finally bid a farewell, they started their journey towards their home together. But if Badd was thinking again, this also could be their journey towards their new life, too. He still can't believe their life fate was changed in just 3 days only. So much happening in those days, but in a better way. Badd knows something must be sacrificed, but they also gained something else that greater than they'd have expected. Vampires living at peace together with werewolves? Never imagined it will comes true! But the reality said otherwise, they finally achieved it.

 And speaking of peace, Badd was so proud of Gaman, who becomes an alive symbol for the peace between the two different race. Gaman is the fruit of Garou’s and his love, so in the other name, Garou and him were making the peace itself. The though made Badd chuckled, how was that fateful day he met the most handsome werewolf turned out to become like this? That a lost vampire finally fallen in love with said werewolf and bear a lovely baby from him? Then birthed and raised the baby until he grow up to becomes a miraculous child who deemed as the symbol of peace? Unbelievable at first, but he's very happy to experience it all.

 After this, Garou and Badd will start a new life together. Both of them now have new responsibilities that must be carried out more seriously, because it will involving not only their packs or their own communities but also the other side communities, too. So they should be more careful at doing the job, especially when they got the honorary position from the Queen directly. Don't wanna make the Queen disappointed, then. But no matter how difficult their path they will faced, as long as they're together, it will be okay.

 Gaman's calling his name break his thought, he asked why Badd was smiling and giggling for a 5 minutes straight during the walk. Before Badd could replied him, Garou slung his arm around Badd's neck and jokingly answered that his father was already too tired so his mind just got short-circuited. Garou got an instant elbow strike on his stomach, put him into a coughing fit. Badd saying to Gaman that he's in so much happiness to have the best family ever, and he didn't regret to meet his dad, not a bit. Because from that fateful encounter, he could meet Gaman in this world. And he loves both of them so dearly.

 Garou blushed at hearing the implication of Badd's sweet confession, because he knew exactly what Badd meant. That Badd actually was deep in love with him since the first moment they met, that he only play hard to get just to test Garou's determination. It made Garou extremely happy, that both of them fell in love with each other at the first sight!

 To emphasize his confession, Badd lifted and carrying Gaman in his craddle then kissed Gaman on both of his soft cheeks, his nose, and his forehead. It earned Gaman's joyful laughter and multiple kisses on Badd's cheek from Gaman. After gotten Gaman's shower of affection, Badd asked Gaman to close his eyes because he wanted to share his happiness to his dad, too. Gaman immediately closed his eyes and turned his head to the other direction, not wanting to interupt their private time.

 Badd smiling sweetly at Garou, who returned to embrace both Badd and Gaman from behind. Garou nuzzled his cheek onto Badd's while delivering soft touch of his lips upon it, and Badd also doing the same thing as Garou. And then, Badd tilted his head and giving a lingering look at Garou, accompanied with a small smile on his cute pink lips and such warmth in his almond-shaped eyes. The same kind of looks when Badd agreeing to become his Mate, pledged his loyalty to be with him forever until their death. The kind of looks when Badd want to showing how deep in love he is to Garou. The kind of looks that Garou adores so much. He caressing Badd's cheek, then moved his face more closer to Badd, wanting to kiss him.

 Badd slowly closed his eyes, lips slightly apart. Garou kissed him tenderly, earning soft humm from Badd. Released their lip-locking just a few seconds to breath, Garou recaptured his lips for more deeper kiss that always makes Badd's knees weakened. He melted when Garou's fingers caressing his cheek, while his tongue invaded his mouth, brushing it against his fangs. Couldn't resist the temptation, he pricked Garou's tongue with his sharp fangs, made it bled a little. He sucked the sweet blood while still continuing their passionate kiss. At the moment Badd let out a soft whimper, suddenly Gaman asked if they're already finished yet or no. Not wanting to make their son further more uncomfortable, they ended their kiss with a wet smack sound (and Gaman started squirming on his craddle).

 Garou and Badd shared a happy look on their face then laughed together, they always do it when they're stupidly in love like this. Just being with each other was enough for them. Happiness is easy to get as long as they're together, and with their beloved child's presence, it completed their life. Perfectness.

 After getting scolded by Zenko for once again PDA in front of the entire family packs' troop and in front of their son, they continued their journey to home. Their home.

Back to several minutes ago when the Fortress had just breached by Garou's werewolf packs alliances, Garou and Gaman running through the corridors inside the Fortress followed with some of main family packs members including Tareo, looking for the court room which was located on the the center of Vampire Council Fortress. During the room searching, they minimalized the amount of fighting the guards on their way and instead focusing on rescue mission, therefore they're not wasting energy for unimportant fights. If there's royal guards get in the way, other family members will deal with them so Garou and Gaman could continue their mission without any hindrance. They must arrived on the court room quickly before the Judges giving any punishment to Badd, worst if the Judges decided to execute Badd on the spot. Didn't want to waste more time, they run faster towards the intended location.

While running, Garou arranged and explained the rescue strategies to Gaman and Tareo. Once they entered the court room, Garou will save Badd quickly and if needed also fights the royal guard if there's any of them while protecting Badd, Gaman and Tareo will save Zenko and take her to the safer place. After three of them evacuate, Garou will let Badd drink his blood so both of them could fighting together against anyone who will targeting them. One more thing, he instructed Gaman and Tareo to not fights or attacks innocent vampire civilians in the court room especially who's not involved with all of this problem.

If they must fight back, focus on the self-defense and always remember the main purpose of the mission: saving Badd and Zenko. Anything else beside that could wait later after they've got their beloved people back, safe and sound at home. That's their first priority for now. If there's someone trying to snatch Badd from Garou for one more time again after this whole rescue thing, they must deal with Garou's entire packs alliances first. Because this time, Garou was not alone anymore. He had all of his family and friends beside him, ready to help and protect each other.

Gaman couldn't wait to see his father again, it's just been a day without Badd but he's already missing him so much. It feels different when Badd wasn't at home. No homemade cooking, no night hunting or training. No scolding was heard whenever he and his dad doing something mischievous together against Badd. No musical instrument practice with his father and auntie Zenko after training or just listening his father playing violin to entertain his dad. No vinyl record player was heard when Garou and Badd slow dancing together at night, sometimes he noticed they stopped dancing just to share kisses between movements or an intimate embrace (Gaman didn't want to ruin their "romantic moment" together).

No goodnight kiss from his father before they sleep, and definitely no warm cuddle when he sleeps between his dad and his father. Not that he didn't like to just sleep with only his dad like the last night, but it's weird and not completed without his father's presence. And Gaman was sure as hell his dad felt the same, he already saw how much his dad missing his father terribly. Garou looked so lonely and lost without Badd, even just for a day only, showed how much sorrow a werewolf would feel without his Mate. Gaman hates to see his dad got sad like that, that's why he was determinated to take Badd back from the Vampire Council's clutch so they can be together again as family.

After dodging many of royal guards on their way to Badd's trial court room, finally they could see the room's door just a few metres in front of them. Gaman feels happy now he could meet his father again soon, but then he heard loud chaotic voices coming from the court room. Sounds like a big ruckus happened here. Many of those are unrecognized people voices, but one of the loudest voices was exactly coming from Badd! He's in the middle of shouting something to the people in there.

What's happening to him? Is his father okay? It really worried Gaman because he couldn't see or knowing Badd's current situation. Garou seems to realize this too, hence as soon as they're already in the front of closed court room's door, they kicked and smashed the old wooden door so they could break into the room quickly.

The court room's door was broken down and opened forcefully, revealed vampire civilians spectators in chaos, the Judges Elders and the royal family vampire members were being held hostage by several nasty looking pureblood vampires, Zenko who's still struggling from Amai Mask's restrain hold, and in the very middle of the room was a defenseless Badd who's ready to be attacked by Amai Mask's lackeys. Badd noticed their arrival and tried to call his family for help, but Amai's lackeys already in motion to kill him. At the same time Garou also rushing to save Badd.

Time feels stopped around Gaman, everything seems to be in slow motion for him. His father is gonna be executed--, no, to be killed? Why? Because from what he'd heard before Badd was already won his trial, thus he should be free and they can take him back to home as soon as possible. So, why did they still try to kill Badd? What did his father do wrong to them? Why did those people trying to take his father away from him again after all they succeeded to come here? And if Badd was killed right here, how was Gaman supposed to life without him?

Without who carried him in his womb for several months, who brought him to this world, who's the first person greeted him after he was born, who gave him all the motherly love, who showed him the amazing world outside, who taught him the hunting skills and proper manner as a good person in the family (surprisingly for short-tempered man), who always cooked delicious meal for him and his dad every dinner time even though he himself not eating it except for the blood, who singing lullaby or serenade songs whenever he had a nightmare, who allowed to sleep and snuggle between him and his dad, who gives goodnight kisses on his head then on his dad's lips when they thought he's already sleeping, also who gives a good morning kiss when he wake up.

Gaman didn't want to lose his father, and he's sure his dad also feels the same, too. Gaman couldn't imagine how much anguish his dad would feel if he lost his Mate forever, considering most Alpha werewolf would died in brokenheart after the death of their Mate, and Gaman didn't want to lose both of his parents because of that. He wanted to save his parents. He wanted to protect his family. He would do anything to keep his family save, just like what his parents always do. He wanted to be stronger, much stronger than this!  

In his moment of frustation and pure intense determination to protect his family, Gaman screaming his head off while unconsciously activated his leveled up "Fighting Spirit". As soon as it fully activated, his entire body was glowing while emanating a dangerous aura, and his screaming voice gradually changed to a thunderous roar much like Garou's. Gaman's jet-black hair slowly turned into snow white colour like his dad, his legs become werewolf-like legs, all of his nails grow much longer into sharp werewolf claws. His bright yellow gold irises changed into vivid gold colored irises and his normally white scleras turned into black colored ones, makes his eyes looked exactly like Garou. His fangs also become more elongated and sharper until it clearly seen peeked between his lips. And finally, he sprouting a pair of wide leathery vampire wings on his back, but instead of normally pitch black colored like Badd's or common other vampires' one, it was beautiful fair white colored like Werewolf Garou's fur color.

This is Gaman's awakening form, where he successfully transformed into his real Werewolf-Vampire Hybrid form: half werewolf and half vampire. His overall appearance showed that he's indeed a love child between a werewolf and a vampire, combination of Garou's and Badd's traits. Not only Gaman got their physical appearances, but also his parents' inherited special ability. Werewolf tribes, especially Alpha ones, have incredible brute strength quick regenerative power. So from Garou's side, Gaman will have advantage to use those traits for his martial arts skill. Vampire clans, exactly tame vampire clan, have "Fighting Spirit" which often used for guarding royal family clan. So from Badd's side, Gaman will have great durability and stamina during fighting.

A brief seconds after transformation, Gaman immediately charged very fast towards Amai's lackeys who's going to attack Badd then kicked and knocked them all unconscious with quick graceful movements. After that, with his channeled "Fighting Spirit" into his claws, he broke Badd's restraint chains with one swift clawing motion. Once Badd got free, Garou rushing in to hold Badd in protective embrace, make sure he was okay. Amai Mask, who's pissed off because his plan was ruined, becomes off-guard at keeping Zenko still.

Knowing Amai was getting off-guard, Zenko gathering her remained "Fighting Spirit" power and elbows Amai's solar plexus as hard as she could then striked him hard on the jaw until he's toppled down as Zenko freed herself from his hold. Zenko joining their family, gathering together in the middle of the court room while the rest of family packs member stand-by on the entrance, waiting for next instruction from their Big Boss.

All of the audiences, both the Judges and Spectators, were shocked seeing what was happening in here. This was the first time they saw a Werewolf-Vampire hybrid exist, and not as what they thought previously. Instead of abominable creature like they imagined before, it was actually the most stunning being they've ever seen. Never expected that from a forbidden mating of werewolf and vampire could resulted in birthing a hybrid this beautiful.

On the other hand, Garou and Badd were also very astounded by Gaman's awakening transformation. They never thought that the day they could see their child transform into his final form finally comes. It's a really great achievement! Badd could feel his heart swell with proud feeling for Gaman, while Garou give a soft smile (looked more like smirk) of full approval to Gaman. Zenko also very happy to see his dear nephew already grow stronger than before.

Still being held hostage, the Judges Elders who were flabbergasted for a while asking Gaman if it's true that he's Badd's own hybrid child. Gaman answered yes it's true, he's the child of Badd and Garou. The Judges continued to ask out of curiosity, if Gaman knowing that a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf is forbidden, which violated the Vampire Codes thus it made Badd got in trouble like this. Gaman replied firmly, that he knows everything about the prohibition and the taboo things behind it. But he doesn't care about it all because his parents truly loving each other unconditionally and both of them also become caring partners to their family, too. So it doesn't really matter if they're from different race or not. As long as there's pure love and dedication to commit a relationship together it will be fine, no matter how many obstacles they will faced later.

Amused by Gaman's straightforward answers, they asked why would Gaman suddenly transformed in the middle of Badd's trial, is it to attack everyone in this room as a revenge to what they did for his father. Also, they wondering if his transformation was triggered by some dark intention towards all of vampires race in here. Slightly annoyed by their accusation tone even if it's not intended, Gaman give a firm answer that no, his transformation doesn't even have an ill intention towards them all. He just thinking of his family's safety all the time. So his transformation was purely motivated by the desire to protect them and the strong determination to do it wholeheartedly.

All of the audiences in the court room were stunned by Gaman's honest explanation about his love he has for his parents, proved that he's truly grow up in a caring family within good environments. Badd must hold back his tears so hard after hearing such full of love yet brave confession from Gaman. He's very touched by it that he finally snivelling quietly in Garou's enveloping embrace while feeling so proud and happy because of his son. Same with Badd, Gaman's words also brought Garou nearly in tears (albeit he's not crying), fully approving all of Gaman's pure motivations. He's gazing proudly to Gaman before looking at Badd who's crying happily in his embrace, wiping the tears away from Badd's face while whispering to him, "That's our baby boy, Badd. Protectiveness really runs in the family, eh?".

Their happy moment suddenly interupted by clapping sound that echoed in the court room. It comes from Amai Mask who just recovered from Zenko's hard punches. He mockly said he's quite touched hearing Gaman's entire speech and seeing their little family reunion, but it's be meaningless because they all will be annihillated soon. Amai had already anticipated for this kind of situation before, so he already prepared reinforcement from his whole family members to come into Vampire Council Fortress, with sole purpose on both overthrowing the royal family and destroying the werewolf tribes who gathered in the Fortress right now.

To prevent the counterattack from royal family, Amai already sabotaged all the royal family guards who's in charge on guarding the outside Fortress into siding with him, leaving the royal guards inside Fortress still siding with royal family. He did this so his family members reinforcement could infiltrated into the Fortress and assassinate all the royal family clan. One of the Elders said he can't do that to them, for it was a highest treason act against the Vampire Order. Amai answered it doesn't really matter anymore, because he'd got secure position in Vampire Council with special rights, and also he got supported by entire pureblood vampure family clans who entrusted his family clan to carry out the mission.

In their secret meeting, they've complained that the royal family has been deemed too soft on regulating the Vampire Order that it would even let a traitor from lower class family clan get away with his werewolf newfound family and became a Mate of one wolf pack's leader. They saw it as a disgrace to vampire communities, tarnishing vampire race's pride. So they must trying to get rid the current royal family and overthrow their authority as soon as possible. Thay way, they could reign the Vampire Order with iron clad rule to prove that vampire race is the most superior supernatural being, no weakness allowed.

So they decided to frame Badd the co-leader of werewolf pack as Vampire Codes offender then bring him to Elders Court trial. They make a bet that the royal family would attend the trial and all the werewolf packs would come to the Vampire Council Fortress to save Badd. In that time, they'll ambush them. It's like killing two birds with one stone. Effective and efficient.

As soon as Amai finished explaining his intention, a guard hurriedly running into the court room to relay the information to the Elders, that there's an army of pureblood vampires marching towards the Fortress. Those were Amai's pureblood big family clan ready to besiege all of the Fortress' current residents. Sensing early small victory, Amai chuckled and said this is his time to watch the beauty of crumbling reign from outside, he really anticipated this exact moment for so long. But before he get outside, he told them that he must eliminated the one person who ruined his other plan to kill the vampire traitor: Badd's hybrid child!

He charged so fast towards Gaman with murder intention, but Garou was already blocked and repels the attack before Amai could manage to touch Gaman. Garou and Badd already shielding their son from Amai Mask. Furious about Amai's action, Garou asked what the hell he was doing to his innocent son, and warned that he should never hurt his family member anymore, if Amai still had that intention then he must fight him first.

Amai Mask just playfully answered that it's just a payback from ruining the part of his great plan. Afterall, it's funny to see a werewolf gets so pissed over his so called "packs" and maybe it's interesting to fight Garou again like the old days when he tried to kill Badd himself in their past encounters. At the mention of that horrible past events made Garou's blood boil, but still not letting his guard off and stay alert to what Amai planned to do next. Hearing his family clan army finally arrived, Amai bid his farewell to all of the Fortress residents who will soon be dead at any time from now on and flee from the room's broken window.

Immediately Garou gives the packs his instruction to prepare the upcoming battle from both on the outside or inside the Fortress. Because most the packs' fighter groups already engaging in combat on the Fortress yard, anyone who still could fight in this rescue group should be aiding the royal family and the innocent vampire civillians by evacuating them to more secure place. It's no time to fight over differences between them right now because as Badd had said before this is the change for both sides to helping each other sincerely.

Garou, Badd, and Gaman would join the rescue-fighter group to protect the royal family together, while Zenko and Tareo would join the evacuation team to aid the civilians in the Fortress and to help if there's any people got hurt from enemies' attack. After all the civillians and royal family could be evacuated to safer place, they should guard the said place until the battle ended so no enemies could entered it. Once the evacuation is successful and they guard the place, Garou himself would pursue Amai Mask on the outside Fortress to end their unfinished business, then continue to help outside fighter group along with Bang and Bomb. Badd and Gaman also should gathering with him on the outside, too. All have agreed with his instruction, they preparing on each position already.

Tareo, who's also coming there to brought along Badd's signature weapon metal bat, presenting it to Badd before joining Zenko to evacuation team. Badd was ready to going with Gaman helping the royal family, when Garou suddenly yanked him into his tight embrace. He missed Badd very much and so relieved that he's still alive, safe and sound in his arms. Badd returned the hug with same intensity while caressing Garou's back, he's glad that he still can see Garou again, and he can't wait to return to their home together again.

Smiling at Badd's beautiful happy face, Garou leaned down to kiss Badd deeply, expressing how much he loves his fiery small vampire Mate. Badd also made the kiss more passionate by encircling his arms around Garou's neck so he can kiss Garou more deeper. He really loves when Garou showing his affection like this, even when in public places.

Then Badd peppering kisses to his jaw until his lips on Garou's jugular where he could feel warm blood pumping fast under the layer of flawless white skin. Garou said it's okay for Badd to drink his blood right now, because it's the right time to activate his legendary "Fighting Spirit". Badd kissed Garou's neck as agreement, then proceed to bite down to taste the sweet warm delicious blood, drinking it eagerly. He got the rush of power surge in his body as soon as he gulped Garou's blood, made him feel more excited and energized.

With the needs for Garou's blood replenished, he could transformed again into his Fighter Vampire form at the moment, complete with the wide pitch black leathered BlackBat wings sprouting on his back and activated "Fighting Spirit". Garou smiled at the sight of it, glad that his lovely Badd's badass form comes back again.

After he finished drinking, Garou and him gazing softly at each other for a moment and resumed their kiss again, both as a reunion and good luck kiss. Their sweet moment was interupted by Gaman's coughing voice and knowing looks, signaling his parents it's time to get back in action. Nodding to each other, they finally ready to fight in their own position.

On the next part where they're in battle, I'm so sorry for the crap quality of it, I can't even write fight scenes so please forgive me if it feels not satisfying to read aaaaaa I'm talentless at it, so embarassing 😭🙏🙇

Eight years later, Gaman grew up to become a very healthy WereVampire child. Before Garou and Badd being together as lovers, nobody expected that werewolf and vampire could have mated and had a hybrid child together. Since Gaman was a baby, mainly he has vampire characteristics, except for the bright yellow gold eyes color or the abilities to eat meat that it mirrorred like what werewolf usually do, the traits that Garou had. So Badd had to cook meal for both Garou and Gaman (B: "No eating raw meat like your feral dad!", G: "But it's naturally delicious as what it is! Even more efficient when we go hunting animals: I'll eat the meat and you'll drink the blood or meat juice. Besides, you like it too much when I go feral--", B: *blushing* "Oh shush nonono, bad wolf! Gaman don't listen to your dad.", Gaman: "Are we still talking about eating, or is it something else?", G: *smirking with knowing looks*, B: *blushing INTENSIFIES*)

Also, Gaman could walking under the sunshine at the day without feeling slightly bothered by it, meanwhile Badd or Zenko can't even stand the sunrays over than 10 minutes without an umbrella or shades. As tame vampire clan members, they still can walking under sunlight at afternoon, just feeling uncomfortable with the sunburn and the high intensity of light. Different with more aggressive pureblood vampires who only could active at night or just stay indoor at day, unless they wear full-body suit to go outside. On Gaman's case, when at day, he's showed more behavior or signs as werewolf like his dad. That's why at the day Garou often asking Gaman to take a stroll together around their territory, sometimes also with other packs members, or even Badd who brought umbrella and shades if it's on hot sunny days.

Exception when at night, Gaman showed more behavior or signs as vampire like his father. This was Badd's chance to go hunting animal in the woods with Gaman, often Garou would come along too. Badd and Garou would introduced the types of prey animals to Gaman and teaching how to hunt them, have a picnic together because Badd can't do that at day, or just walking through the woods while enjoying the moonlight shower. If Badd is in the mood, he will take Gaman flying to the sky with him, considering Gaman doesn't have a set of wings yet (G: "Babe I wanna fly too! Take me into your arms and we'll be flying together.", B: "I can't even lift you, you're so damn heavy! And there's a reason why only Flying Foxes exist, not the FLYING WOLVES.").

Other than that, he still hadn't showed another traits. But for Garou and Badd it doesn't really matter, the most important thing is to keep Gaman stay healthy and to grow up happily with all the pack family members. Zenko adores his nephew and often teach him about classical music or the basic healer magics so he can use it for himself in the future. As homeschooling tutor, Tareo provide him a lots of important lessons and knowledges to Gaman, either from supernatural world or human world.

The other family packs members like Garou's werewolf friends and colleagues really fond of Gaman. For them it's quite lovely that a werewolf married to a vampire and have a child together, proving they can love each other despite the social stigmas. Hilariously, the idea of that even made some of Garou's friends dreaming to have an adorable vampire mate like what Garou did, they said Garou was so lucky to have a sweet Mate like Badd. No comments from Badd when Garou told him about this, just shake his head exasperatedly while Garou was laughing outloud.

On the other hand, Garou's subordinates totally doting on Gaman. They treated him like a little King, as he's their Big Boss' son. Gaman was spoiled rotten by his father's subordinates. At any chance they will let Gaman plays with them when Garou was busy on his Alpha Leader duty along with Badd on another werewolf's territory, or when there's diplomacy meeting on their house. It's quite funny to see a group consists of huge scary werewolves who seems very intimidating, but turned out they're just a bunch of kid-loving doting uncles and actual sweethearts. If Badd needs temporary babysit for Gaman when he had to go outside with Garou, either when on duty as co-leaders or more often when they wanna have "sexy times in the woods", everyone would fight for the babysitter position. Zenko is still the winner, though, cue the sad wolves noises.

Garou and Badd also take their turn to teach Gaman: Garou give his lesson of perfected werewolf martial arts to Gaman at the day, so they would training together on their backyard, in the woods, or in Bang's resident. If Bang missed his grandson so much he'd invite them all to come to his house, or even to have sleepover in there. Badd taught him about his basic vampire instincts for hunting prey animals at night in the woods, or sometimes also training Gaman to control his inherited Fighting Spirit when he used his dad's martial arts. Garou supervised their training so he could also correcting Gaman's techniques or just simply because he wanted to watch his Mate and his son bonding over training session.

After they finished learning, they will take a rest together on the riverbank, where they could watching the full moon and twinkling stars clearly from here, laying comfortably on the grass. Gaman would laying in the middle between both of his parents, they would be sharing some stories or stargazing while waiting their body recovered from tiredness.

Sometimes when Gaman feels sleepy and he closed his eyes for a while, he could listening the rustling sound of the grass when his parents sat up and moved closer to each other. Then there he heard his dad's voice whispering sweet nothings to his father, followed by slightly panicked sound from his father warned his dad to not doing it in front of their son (not doing what? what's going on? Gaman didn't understand!), finally there's a small wet smack sound with a sweet whimpering voice from his father. Curiously, Gaman take a peek briefly to know what their parents was doing. Oh no, they're making out again! In front of him! That scene made Gaman squirming uncomfortably and feels awkward, but he doesn't hate it. In fact, he loves that.

As a child, Gaman really loves both of his parents. For him, Garou and Badd are the most romantic couple in the world. Because even though his dad and his father are from different race and the world seems to hate them, by giving them bad fates or being ostracized by their society for committing forbidden relationship, their love still overcomes it all. Nothing could stop them. And Gaman is happy that he's become the fruit of their love, the proof that they love each other. As his payback for the happiness he received everyday in his life from them, Gaman will do anything to make his parents happy, too. He wanted to show that he really loves his dad and his father. He hopes that someday, he also could protect his family with his own power.

 One day, when Badd still preparing to cook their dinner while watching Gaman playing with Garou at home, two messengers from Vampire Council comes to deliver a news. The news content was that Badd have to attend a trial by Elders Court because he violated the Vampire Codes by committing a forbidden acts with a werewolf and have a child with him. The messengers would escorted Badd to the Vampire Council Fortress, and Badd only could bring one more person as witness. If Badd isn't willing to surrender himself, they'd have to take Badd forcefully.

 This angered Garou so bad he nearly attacked the messengers furiously on the spot if Badd didn't stop him first. Badd doesn't want to make the situation become worsened, even though he's also very mad about it. He know it must be Amai Mask's doing behind this, and some of the other pureblood Vampire Council members who sided with his clan.

So he asked Garou to trust him that he'll try to find the best solution in the court with Zenko, that he'll survive from his trial and come back home unscathed. He also asked Gaman to take care of himself while he's away. Before he goes with Zenko, Badd hugged Gaman, saying he loves him more than anything in this world and he's proud to have a wonderful son like him.

After that, he encircled Garou's neck and kissing him deeply, Garou also reciprocated with embracing Badd in his arms tightly, never wanting to let go. With their foreheads touching each other, they whispered their love vows and promises, that they will survive all of this and reunited together again. They shared the lingering looks with soft smile before Badd and Zenko, who were restrained by the messengers, get into the carriage and departed to the Vampire Council Fortress.

The night after Badd and Zenko departing, Gaman feels their home becomes very empty without his father and auntie's presences. Badd's delicious dinner cooking tasted so bland because the cook himself wasn't there, too. No scolding sounds from his father Badd, or cheery voices from Auntie Zenko during that night. Even his dad excused himself to go to his room first. Gaman curiously followed him quietly to know what his dad was doing in there.

Gaman found his dad holding his favorite knitted scarf, the first handcraft gift from Badd which he got after they're became Mates. Of course as werewolf he didn't need a scarf, but because it's a gift from Badd just for Garou, it becomes his precious thing. He often wearing it when he's on duty outside his territory, or made Badd wearing it too so he gets Badd's sweet scent on the scarf. Saddened at the reality that happening to them, Garou wrap the scarf around his neck and inhaling Badd's scent deeply.

Garou already missed Badd so terribly. He looked frustated restlessly from anger, helplessness, and sorrow, because this is the first time he got separated from Badd since they got together as Mates. Knowing his Mates in danger... Garou didn't want to imagine something bad happened to his Mates, his co-leader, his partner, his wife, his other half, his SOUL, his LOVE.

Didn't want his dad got sad, Gaman comes to hug him, assuring that they can still ask help from the packs and also Grandpa Bang. Because, family will stick together and helping each other, right? Gaman said Dad Garou wasn't alone, he has the whole family, friends, colleagues, alliances, and certainly Gaman, too. Surely they're willing to help Dad Garou. And never forget that Father Badd is strong person too, he'll never submit to anyone who's not his own family. So, Dad Garou must believe in Father Badd, he'll be fine until their reinforcement team coming to save him.

Hearing his son's brave words and saw there's Badd's spirit in him, Garou returned the hug and thanking Gaman for giving him courage to fight back. He'll ask everyone in the packs to join him on getting Badd back from that damned Council.

Saw his dad got fired up again like usual, Gaman nuzzling into his embrace happily, saying he wanted to help him saving his father along with him, fighting side by side. Smiling fondly, Garou ruffled Gaman's hair while kissing his forehead, answering him that of course he could join, as long as Gaman stay near him and not strayed far away from him towards the enemies' presence during fighting.

Gaman only hummed in agreement, can't wait for the day he could reunited again with his father. But for now it's time for them to rest, preparing their energy to fight on the next day. At that night in Garou's room, Garou turned into his WhiteWolf form so he could comforting Gaman in his sleep, cuddling his beloved son into his warm silky fur embrace.

The next day, Garou with all of his pack members, Bang with his still loyal followers, Bomb with his entire Alpha pack members, and also Gaman, ready to go towards Vampire Council together. Garou hoped it's not too late to save Badd from anyone who wronged him, and proved that the Werewolf tribes with Mates are not to mess with. Especially that cunning vampire bastard Amai Mask which he knows was the one who's responsible behind all of this mess. He's absolutely going to kill him for real this time. With a thunderous roar, Garou started to lead the whole werewolf packs alliance marching towards the Vampire Council where Badd waiting for his trial with Zenko.

After hours of travelling, now they're arrived in the front of Vampire Council Fortress, which heavily guarded by vampire soldiers. The plan for Garou and Gaman is to break through the horde of soldiers troops so they can breached the Fortress into the court room, while the other members from pack alliance keep the vampire soldiers outside the Fortress by fighting them. They must arrived into the court room before the trial ended so they can save Badd quickly as soon as possible. Gaman wont let anyone take his father from the family, or even separated him from his dad who loves him so much. He makes sure of it.

The rest of Alphas guest here just thinking Garou has dual persona: as an intimidating powerful Alpha or as a loving husband and family man, at the same time. Or just plain dorky puppy for his wifey vampire Mate, showing how much Garou loves Badd 😆😂

And funny facts, I swear I actually don't know the exact plot of Twilight Saga stories! Just the crumbs of common knowledges from it, for I never read the novels series and only watched the 1st movie, lol. I'm so sorry if there are any similarities to them in this story, now that I re-checked my entire sequels I feel so embarassed aaaaa forgive meeee-- 😭😭😭

I didn't intend to make the similar plot like Twilight (in fact didn't even thought of that when writing), but I can assure you it'll have totally different outcome. Trust me! 😤👍

On the next part: Badd and Zenko's sibling moments the night before trial begins, and Badd's bittersweet past memories!

Back to several minutes before, on the Fortress frontyard, Bang and Bomb along with their packs alliances successful on defeating the royal guards who were in charge on guarding the outside Fortress easily. Now they just waiting for Garou and the other rescue team to take Badd and Zenko back to home. But Bomb sensed there's something wrong with this situation, he'd heard with his werewolf's supersensitive ears that there's a horde of people coming towards them. And from the smell of it those scents were similar to pureblood vampire scent are, and it gets stronger as those people approaching them at a steady pace.

Bomb asked everyone to stay alert because these can be more dangerous than their previous opponents. Bang followed his brother's instruction and set his fighting stance right away with Bomb. A few seconds later, they saw an army of pureblood vampires marching towards them from the forest direction. Bang thought it seems that whoever instructed those army to come here, they have an intention to destroy the place or the people inside it. This cannot be good, Garou and the others still in the Fortress and they still haven't know what's happened on Badd's trial right now. Only one way to sort this out: fight those vampires back to prevent them entering the Fortress until everybody inside are already saved.

Finally the army of pureblood vampires stopped their march in the front Fortress gate. From the close distance, their appearance seemed like either trained assassins or mysterious stalkers, with all full body suit and black mantle plus half mask covering the upper part of their face, to prevent sunlight from touching their sensitive skin. On the mantle there's an insignia of highest rank of pureblood vampire family clan, to be exactly Amai Mask's own family.

That moment, Bang immediately understand what's actually happened here. Amai's family planned to wiped out every people in this Fortress along with the evidences so they could overthrow the royal family's Vampire Order. What a horrible clan, Bang thought. He knew from his life experiences that some of the vampire clan are nasty, but never once he encountered a clan nastier than this before. It disgusted him.

Anyways, he wont let those nasty people get their dirty hands on his family. Don't let the tragedy of Badd's own family repeated again now, his beloved son-in-law already suffered the loss and traumatic painful memories too much. He'll doing his best to prevent that from happening once more. With understanding nods to each other, Bang and Bomb ready to lead the packs alliances into the battle against the pureblood vampire army at the front line.

At the same time inside the Fortress, the rescue-fighter team trying to evacuate the royal family and all of the civillians to another solitude building in the back of Fortress which is looked more secure. The said building is the Imperial Palace, owned by the royal family as the authority of Vampire Council. Hopefully it could accommodate the refugees and hold back the treacherous clan army's invasion until the battle ended. Garou, Badd, and Gaman defended the civillians from the front side while the rest of rescue and evacuation team on the back side. Because there's also a group of pureblood vampires who sided with Amai's family clan and the remain of Amai's lackeys, they must protect the people from those enemies during moving from court house building to the Imperial Palace.

Currently, they still in the court room to open their way from the remaining enemies in there, so they can open their way to move forward towards the Fortress corridors. As expected, Amai's lackey attacked them from inside the room and from outside the room or from the corridors. In the front line, Garou and Gaman fighting side by side while Badd covering their back. It was amazing to see how those three in action as teamwork.

Garou was like the spear for them, excels in brute strength and flexibility, combinated with graceful movements using complicated techniques that has been perfected by him. Also, as a werewolf he has more powerful regenerative ability than any vampire ever have, so it doesn't really worrisome if he got wounded from enemies' offensive attack, because he wanted to protect Gaman who's still a child and Badd who's his vampire Mate. The protectiveness from being an Alpha Werewolf with a Mate strenghtened his skills and sharpen his natural instinct to keep his family safe no matter what happen.

And to do that thing, he doesn't mind to kill his enemies with his bare hands if it's absolutely necessary. Of course he still taught Gaman to not kill the opponent, same to Badd who's softhearted. Because of that, he wanted to spare them from the guilt of killing a person. Just him alone to shoulder the sin is enough for Garou, no need to made them a "killer".

Badd was like the shield for them, excels in defense or guarding especially to protect his beloved people, yet he also capable to deliver deathly blow if he wants with his metal bat. He's guarding the back of his Mate and his child from behind. Maybe Badd lacked the gracefulness and doesn't really have any technical martial arts, but he's very strong as powerhouse and he got excellent speed to deliver his attack during combat. Also, he could fights both on the ground and in the air because his ability to fly gives him a lot of advantages, especially to fight against his own kind like in this situation. Plus the activated "Fighting Spirit" made him very durable in combat with incredible amount of stamina during a battle.

Gaman's fighting style is more like his dad, with additional advantages which inherited from his father. As a WereVampire hybrid, he could combinated the gracefulness of Garou's martial arts and the hunting instict like what both his parents taught to him. After Gaman was transformed into his Awakening WereVampire form, he unlocked all of his hidden potential abilities such as flying with his vampiric wings, excellent eyesight of werewolf, heightened vampire and werewolf senses, got clawing hands and strong legs like a werewolf, also the most important is his leveled up "Fighting Spirit" which he inherited it from Badd with some upgraded element like glowing aura when it's activated.

So much like some choreographic battle dance, those three fighting along together against their opponents also protecting each other and the civillians at the same time. Garou opening the way by delivering offensive attacks towards enemies who blocking them, he prefer to aims for the vital points to make his enemies lose the ability to fight back very quickly, that way the evacuation process could be done much faster. Badd defends them at behind and at their side, also because he has incredible reflexes combinated with his sharpened vampire senses, he'd know if there's any opponents who's approaching them in the air using their wings or sneak around them. Badd would bashing his opponents into submission before they could even touch his family, the rescue team, or the civillians. Gaman fills the gap by attacking enemies who wanted to attack Garou's and Badd's blind spot, because Gaman is still small so he takes advantages on his agility and the ease of mobility he has during fighting.

They did all of that until there's no remaining enemies capable to fighting anymore from the inside Fortress. Finally all of them had reached the outside building and moving towards the Gate of Imperial Palace. Suddenly they heard loud battle cry from the frontyard area and realized that werewolf packs alliances were in the middle of battling the traitor pureblood vampire clan army. Some of them looked heavily injured but still continue to fight. Garou becomes worried for Bang and wanna joined him fighting at the frontyard with all the fighter team. Badd also want to follow Garou but Garou asked him to keep Gaman save on the back, guarding the Gate of Imperial Palace from enemies who intended to breach the evacuation area.

It's still too dangerous for Gaman to join fighting the most skillful assassin vampires like those army, moreover Gaman had just only transformed for the first time so Garou couldn't risk their son's life in the front lines. About Badd, Garou believed he absolutely capable to fight along with him. But he had to entrusted Gaman in Badd's hand, keeping their beloved son safe and sound. Also he didn't want to lose Badd again, worst if it's permanently. Both Badd and Gaman are very precious to Garou so he must protect them from any danger, included this kind of battle.

Garou said to Badd that he doesn't have to worry about him getting injured, he could heal very quickly and he's nearly invulnerable in his Alpha Werewolf form. Even if he's heavily injured, he still have great endurance to hold it until the battle ended. Only if Badd giving a good luck kiss again. Badd know Garou just teased him, but he's begrudgingly agreed with Garou's decision about coming to the front line alone without them.

With a wide smile, Garou hugged both his Mate and their son before departing to the battlefield. Once he released the hug, he kissed Badd deeply, taking it as his good luck charm from his lovely Mate, and as promise to come back for him again. With heavyness in his heart, Badd letting go of Garou and went separated way: Badd and Gaman rushed to the Gate of Imperial Palace, while Garou running towards the frontyard battlefield.

With the guarding from the rescue and evacuation team from werewolf alliances, the royal family and also all of civillians from the Fortress successfully moved into the Imperial Palace hall. For the injured vampire civillians or the werewolf alliances member were treated by the medic team who consists from a teamwork between vampire and werewolf medical staffs, including Zenko and Tareo. Zenko treated the internal injuries, while Tareo treated the external injuries. Both of them were very busy treating and healing the injured people, or assisting the others medical staffs. As teamwork, they're never differentiate the race of their patients, whoever needed health care will be treated equally.

On the outside of Palace, the werewolf alliances guarding at the gate so no enemies could entered it. Only medical team and injured people who need medical treatment allowed to enter. And that's where Badd and Gaman keep an eye for any intruders who's coming from the battlefront.

Since so many fighter team from werewolf alliances has fallen after demolishing a partial of the vampire army and couldn't keep watching the enemies anymore, either too exhausted or heavily injured, it opened the chance of the assassin vampires to infiltrating Fortress. Thus, the evacuation area become at risk as the next target of those army. Badd told Gaman to stay alert whenever there's enemy coming at any time right now.

They must be more careful because this time the enemy were not someone lackeys or unexperienced fighter anymore, those are professional killer thus the next level of dangerous. So they should protected themself, each other, the comrades, and the civillians in the Palace. But whatever happened later, Badd will always protected Gaman, as what Garou asked to him before. Understand fully about what his father saying, Gaman nodded to him as agreement. Both of them activated their "Fighting Spirit" to prepare the upcoming battle.

As the co-leader of the werewolf packs, Badd stood in the front of his team as the vanguard, while Gaman is right behind him. Like what they predicted before, there's a group of vampire assassins coming from the Fortress which already breached by them, not so many like on battlefront but still dangerous enough. Badd and the team were ready in their fighting stance, then they're moving forward to start attacking. The assassin vampires was indeed stronger than their previous opponents, made it difficult to won this battle easily. Even so, they also wont give up easily, too.

If Garou-Gaman-Badd combination fighting style was side-by-side or go around in circle outward-facing, then Badd-Gaman combination fighting style was back-to-back. Badd shielding Gaman from any offensive attacks while moving forward delivering his deathly blows towards enemies using his signature weapon metal bat, channeling his "Fighting Spirit" upon it for every smash of the metal bat. He will absorb all the damages that the opponents gave to him as long as they wont touch Gaman, then he bashed and smashed them out of his way, knocking them unconscious.

While Gaman keeping his father's back or his blind spot safe with his super-agile defensive attacks using his graceful martial arts taught by his dad, combined with his new unlocked werewolf power and vampire senses. Sometimes he'll flight towards the enemies to disarmed them, especially if they tried to sneakily delivering attack behind Badd's back or when he was busy smashing the enemies around. Gaman prefer to used his werewolf-like legs to plain kick, drop-kick, or choked his opponent's neck by swinging his legs and spinning them around when he's flying, because it's more easier to do in the air than delivering punches. Punches usually followed by some clawing to make the damages worse.

Many assassin vampire enemies were shocked about the new revelation of hybrid child's secret power. All they know about him from Amai was there's a werevamp hybrid child who looked like normal vampire kid and were taught martial arts by both his parents, but they never heard or known that this hybrid child already evolved into his awakening form. Especially when said child turned out to be more stronger than they've expected before. They also underestimate Badd's skills at being Fighter Vampire with inherited ability, come from the vampire clan who they've let it perished years ago.

It seems this time Badd wanted to repay what those pureblood vampire clan had done to his late family and his own current family, so delivered his ultimate attack to end this battle at once very quickly by wildly spins with his metal bat strong enough to create a small tornado, wiped out and destroying any opponents on his path. The result, he'd totally demolishing nearly half of army troop that come to evacuation area by himself with the help from Gaman. Such a tremendous power he had on that battle.

It finally ended after half an hour of fighting, with the result most of assassin vampire were killed or in unconscious state after suffering heavy injuries and already restained, many captured alive so they could be interrogated by the royal family's law enforcer. While nobody on the werewolf alliances side had died, many of them really need emergency medical treatment in the Palace so unfortunately the remaining guards keeping on the gate reduced by half.

Resting for a while after battling, Badd felt a bit tired from using too much "Fighting Spirit" today, unless he gulped some of Garou's blood again as his energy fuel. Gaman leaned on Badd, who's already back on his normal form, said he felt sleepy after fighting too much. Moreover, this was his first time using leveled up "Fighting Spirit" with his final transformation form, so it'd drained his energy rapidly.

Badd asked if he wanted to sleep in the evacuation area with Auntie Zenko's and Uncle Tareo's supervised him, Gaman answered no, he still wanted to be with Badd, accompanying him guarding the gate. Ruffling Gaman's hair fondly, Badd offering him his lap so he could sleep more comfortable. Gaman plopped on his father's lap with his head leaned on his father's chest, eyes already closed. Badd hugged Gaman from behind, keeping him warm, safe and secure in his embrace like a protective mother hen.

Back to his duty on keeping the gate with remaining rescue team, he listened the battle noises coming from the frontyard. It seems the war still hasn't ended yet. He's wondering what Garou does right now, so many thoughts invaded his mind: Is he still fighting with Bang? Is he hurt? Why is the battle still not done yet? Are the enemies in the frontyard are much harder to defeat than the ones he just defeated? He really wanted to meet Garou again...

Hopefully he's alright and will come back in one piece, because if it's not, Badd will personally bash Garou's stupid head with his goddamn bat and kick his sorry ass. He didn't want to worry his head off for Garou just to have him fatally injured, or worst, dying. But he trusted Garou's promise and will waiting for him on here with their son. Wishing everything's gonna be alright soon.

Meanwhile on the battlefront, Garou, Bang, and Bomb still fighting back the assassin vampires with all their might. The condition was so much worse in there than what Badd had experienced in front of the Imperial Palace's gate.

It seems most of the more skilled assassin vampire was placed in the frontline to fight werewolf alliances because the werewolfs are stronger, while the less experienced ones was instructed to infiltrate the Fortress and Imperial Palace because the royal family or the civillians are deemed weaker by them. Because of they're underestimating the unexpected situation, such as not knowing Badd the Fighter Vampire's and Gaman the Hybrid Child's participation on guarding the place, thus more easier to defeat by rescue team.

In this battle zone, it's more difficult because the experienced assassins were concentrated in the front line. There's already many werewolfs warrior in fighter team were killed, some of them were Garou's close friends and colleagues. But it doesn't mean the werewolf side was losing.

Despite of the situation, they're also be able to push back the army's advance until it just 1/3 of them who still remained capable of fighting, 2/3 of them either being killed or surrendered after suffering fatal damages on their bodies. It showed that the teamwork for werewolf alliances with Garou's leadership in this battle were quite successful, with the guidance from Bang and Bomb. The combination power from those three were devastating, considering they had same root on martial art styles but Garou had his own style already perfected. So, Bang and Bomb were become the shields for the fighter team as defensive forces while Garou becomes the spearhead for them as offensive force.

As the Alpha Werewolf who had his protective instinct heightened after having a Mate, a son, and a whole family packs, really made Garou becomes much more stronger than ever, compared with his past-self back then when he's still a youngling member of Bang's Alpha pack and a student in Bang's dojo. Being a family man truly suited Garou, his desire to protect everyone he loves strengthen him. Watching how Garou grow from an overly ambitious reckless kid who wants nothing but to challenge everyone he deemed strong, into a more matured humble young man who wants nothing but keeping his family safe, made Bang feel very proud of him.

Especially when he proved his amazing skills in this battlefield while they're doing teamwork together fighting those vampire army, Bang didn't regret teaching him his martial art and handing his leadership along with the packs to him. Now that Garou asking for his help to save his family, why not showing off all of his power in full capacity right there, so those nasty vampire clan will realized how to not messing with werewolf packs family, ever. Because Garou's family is also his family, too.

At some point, when Garou in the middle of demolishing vampire army, there's one assassin vampire behind a different kind of mask who's watching over him intensely from a close distance. That assassin looked like he's on stand by, ready to strike an attack towards Garou. Bomb was the first one aware of that, shouting a warning to Garou. At the same time, that assassin quickly swishing forward to attack Garou with sharp clawed hands. It happened so fast that Garou was late to respond or even ready to defend himself, but the blow was already deflected by Bang using his arm. He's not fatally injured but Bang felt something wrong with the wounds, as he becomes slightly dizzy. Was he poisoned? Were those claws coated with poison?

Bomb caught Bang before he could fall, he roared furiously at the assassin who's wounded his little brother. Garou couldn't believe he let his guard off that it would lead into Bang getting hurt. It's all his fault at being not aware his surrounding enough. Quickly Garou asked his subordinates to bring Bang as soon as possible into the Imperial Palace where the medical team could give Bang emergency treatment. Angrily, Garou barked at the assassin to reveal himself right now. He heard amused chuckling for a moment, then when the vampire assassin revealed himself, opened his hood and took his half-mask off, Garou becomes more enraged. It was Amai Mask! How dare he hurted his family again!!

Amai Mask let out cynical laughing once he looking at Garou's mad expression, said he already promised before to fight Garou once more again like the old day. It's unfortunate he couldn't deliver that surprise blow to Garou like what he's planned before, but he's happy somehow it still worked out fine. Afterall, the old man is Garou's close family, his father figure. Nice unexpected target and sacrificial pawn for Amai. Hearing Amai talking about Bang like that, Garou couldn't hold back his anger anymore. He transformed into his Alpha Werewolf form and ready on his fighting stance, intended to end this vampire's life right here and there. Glad his taunting works, Amai Mask responded back with his own transformation into Fighter Vampire mode.

Yes, not only Badd and his tame vampire family clan who could transformed into Fighter mode, Amai Mask's own family could transformed as well. But it's different. While tame clan had Brawler type Fighter mode, then his pureblood clan had Assassin type Fighter mode. It allowed them to move more gracefully while delivering deathly blow for minimal effort. Even though the form looked more nastier than Brawler type, with BrownBat wings, long clawed vampire hands and longer fangs also sharper face features made him less beautiful than usual, it gave him lots of convenience especially to fight Alpha Werewolf.

They clashed so fast, striking attacks to each other ceaselessly, with almost the same gracefulness, trying to suppress the other with murder intention. Because Garou didn't want to accidentally hurting his comrades who's also still in the middle of fighting assassin vampires around him, without ever stopping his strikes he changed his direction for combat location into the forest so he could attacking Amai Mask more freely. Amai sneered at him for being too soft, as expected from a family man and not a true warrior. Garou trying not to listen his taunting talk anymore, it's useless because he's already wanting to kill Amai quickly without any fuss, focused on finding Amai's weakness. Because of that, Garou find a chance to tricked him by giving wrong prediction for movement's direction so Amai become unguarded for a moment. At that time, Garou managed to pummel his body repeatedly before he send Amai flying towards nearby tree by strucked a werewolf kick hard in the face. It even caused the tree fall to pieces.

There was a moment of silence between them while the view obscured by the dust and dirt. When it's cleared off, Amai Mask trying to get up from his current position with enraged expression showed on his bloodied face. Garou ruined his beautiful face, how dare him! With a scream, Amai charging towards Garou again only to have him already moved fast behind Amai's back and kicked him hard on the nape with devastating impact. Garou thought it would killed him by that attack. But he's wrong. Amai still got up once again while laughing maniacally, couldn't believing himself to be cornered into taking his last resort. Confused, Garou asked what last resort. Amai only smiled and picking a small blood vial from the box inside his mantle.

Amai Mask said that it's a pureblood vampire blood, his father's blood. Same like tame vampire clan, when they drink a human's or another supernatural being's blood, they'd activated their "Fighting Spirit". This similar like pureblood vampire clan, but also different. Drinking human's blood just quench their thirst and satisfy their hunger, nothing else more. But when they drink a fellow pureblood vampire's blood? It'd boost their energy and raised their killer instinct into the fullest capacity, same like those "Fighting Spirit", but it's more like "Murdering Spirit" that truly fits for assassin clan like him. But the downfall from this, once they used last resort they wouldn't come back to normal anymore as they swallowed into insanity from drinking a fellow kin's blood. So if he could kill Garou with that form and have all of his plans worked smoothly, he doesn't mind getting a little bit insane. Amai then opened the vial and drink all the content.

Garou had a bad feeling about this, moreover he's already used a lot of his stamina for the battle before, he really needs a rest. And a homemade cooking meal. A cheer up charm hug from Gaman. A kiss of life from Badd. Badd. He really needs Badd right now. What's his Mate doing right now, is he alright? Garou hoped he could seeing Badd again after finishing his business with this maniacal vampire in front of him. A loud growl bring Garou back to reality, and he's shocked at what he saw. Amai transformed further more into an ugly monstrous creature, something like abominable thing that very far from his previous vampire appearance, also he looked like lost control of himself.

Not waiting any moment longer for Garou, Amai flight towards Garou swiftly and kicked him hard on his side as a payback from before. He isn't done yet, Amai continued to punch Garou several times before he lifted him up to the sky and smashed him down fastly onto the ground. Garou could feel his bones shattered by that consecutive attacks, luckily he got excellent regenerative ability so he could heal again at any time. But if Amai still continue to do this repeatedly, he's in fatal danger. Garou got up before Amai stomped his foot onto him, crushed the ground he previously lay on before. He spun around to deliver kicks and punches to Amai, but to no avail because Amai blocked all his attacks. Then Garou tried to clawed at his side only to be deflected by Amai, but he gave surprise attack by stepped onto Amai's arm, spun around in the air then clawed Amai's unprotected neck with his foot claws.

It worked, the vampire's blood gushed from the wound, shocking Amai for being caught off-guard again. It angered Amai. He grabbed Garou's head and smashed him on the nearby tree, hit him on the stomach, and stomped on his chest, leaving Garou unable to move. Not even giving Garou a break, he slashed Garou's torso with those sharp as knife claws repeatedly. That's really hurts, Garou feels like he's being torn apart. He screamed, trying to grab Amai's arms so he could be stopped but his own arms were restrained by Amai's legs. He can't move, his body numbed by the exhaustion and the sheer amount of pain that Amai's caused.

In a moment like this, why did he remember Badd's words? That a "Fighting Spirit" can be learned by anyone who has strong determination, not limited to his family clan only. What the hell was that? And what exactly is the "determination" itself? He started to see his entire life flashing in his mind, was it his time to die? NO! He didn't wanna die like this! Not before he could reunite again with his family, not before he could embrace his sweet Mate again. Badd. The love of his life who he found as the most beautiful being in the world.

Aah.. he could see Badd in his flashing memories. Their first time meeting. The agreement to become his Mates. His awkward courting phase. The moment Badd was finally falling in love with him. Their first time making love as they become Mates. Bang giving his blessing for his relationship witj Badd. Their wedding. All the times he and Badd working as co-leader of their family packs. Badd's surprising pregnancy. All the time he's being a try-hard protective husband to Badd. Gaman's birth. Raising Gaman together as new parents. All the years he watching Gaman grow up along with Badd. Their family moment together with Gaman in the wood, or when just two of them making love all night under the moonlight. His promise to Badd to come back for Badd alive. Badd, who's with heavy heart letting Garou go to the battlefield, he must be so worried right now.

All of his family packs waiting for him. Bomb. Bang. Tareo. Zenko. Gaman. Badd. He wanted to come back alive so he can be always protecting his family. He wanted to save his family. Don't really care if his body was being ripped apart. He had to do it NOW!

As soon as he thought of his final decision, Garou feels a new surge of energy and his regenerative ability kicked back in, healing any injuries and damages he suffered from Amai Mask's attacks. He could feels his entire being humming with new power he unconsciously activated, as the glowing bright aura emanated from his body. His mind also becomes more clearer, his eyes not clouded anymore. Garou could move his body again until he could rise up from his former position. Amai's eyes were wide with shock as his mouth gaped at the sight of Garou's rapidly recovering state. He just watched him in disbelief, because he was sure Garou was supposed to be death now, with all the poisoning from the poison-coated claws he used to slashed Garou's body.

Garou wondering why did he suddenly got this power, but seeing it's so similar with the ones Badd and Gaman had, there's only one answer: [ Is this the so-called "Fighting Spirit"? ] He smiled at the thought of it, because now he finally learned how to achieve the legendary power of "Fighting Spirit": it's a Power of Love. Born from the strong determination to protect the beloved ones or people, with the pure good intention to always keeping them safe.

Garou truly understand it now, how Badd always capable to activate his own power at ease everytime someone in their family need his help. Or how Gaman suddenly could transformed when Badd need their help after nearly assassinated. Or how he finally obtained it after he remembered his promise to Badd to come back safely, reminded his oath and vow to always protecting his whole family. It was because of LOVE. Afterall, Love is the strongest force in the earth!

Garou smiling even wider, borderline smirking. Now the table has turned, time to payback then ended this battle as soon as possible. Then when he goes back to Badd, he will thanking him for teaching him the most important knowledge. Thank you Badd.

Already having new energy to transform back to his Alpha Werewolf form, he's setting up his usual fighting stance. This time Garou prepared to end Amai Mask's life. Couldn't accept his failed plan, Amai charged towards Garou while roaring his frustation. Garou, who got enhanced senses, instinct and reflexes, could predicted Amai's movement pattern so he quickly dodges his attack, grab his arm and twist it hard until it break. Amai yelled in pain. Seeing Amai being distracted by the sudden pain, Garou struck Amai's body by kicking Amai's torso with tremendous power he had until he's slammed back onto the nearby huge trees, collapsing the whole rows of them that caused a huge blast of dust and dirt in the air. Garou just waiting any moment Amai decided to get up again.

And as expected, Amai flapped his huge BrownBat wings to clear the view from the dust so he could located where Garou is and try to give his final blow. But suddenly Garou vanished from his vision, it shocked Amai. Without any warning, Garou appeared from the ground below Amai and uppercut punched him so hard it send him flying and broke Amai's jaw instantly. Then Garou moving forward to deliver the consecutive attacks using his fists, strike him on every vital points of Amai's body so the result of damages become more devastating.

Still didn't want to lose by the werewolf even though his body is beyond broken, Amai decided to attack him from the above in the air using his wings. He'd soar into the sky then diving down fastly towards the werewolf to slash him with his clawed hands or high speed slammed him down to the ground then crushed his body. But before he could do any of that, with the enhanced speed Garou grabbed one of Amai's wing then smashed him first to the ground repeatedly. Not finished yet, Garou threw Amai to the air then he jumped from the ground so Garou slammed Amai right on the back with his strong werewolf leg, and smashed him again on the ground.

Paralyzed and unable to move after Garou got his spine broken in pieces, he just laying down while trembling from the sheer amount of pain. Garou landed beside him while watching Amai with killing intent. He stomped on Amai's broken back, then he ripped his wings apart one by one. Not even the ear-deafening screaming coming from Amai's throat made Garou feel satisfied. The hatred in his heart for this nasty vampire who harmed and hurted his family for so many times after all this year, causing so much pain and grief for Badd, and nearly killing Gaman, not to mention he still doesn't know Bang's fate. All of those because of this scumbag he called himself a noble man. Noble from where?? All what he did were just inflicting pain to others to satisfy his ego and pride. Even willing to do it once more, adding more people to suffer. Now it's Garou chance to end the cycle, so nobody will suffer from Amai's wrongdoing anymore.

Garou threw the ripped wings on the ground, then kicked Amai's side hard enough so he's on his back now. Nearly on the death's door, Amai Mask glared at Garou, insulting words already on the tip of tongue but couldn't speak it out loud because the pain he suffered succumbed him into silence. Garou started to speak, why did Amai doing all of those malevolent acts towards Badd? Was the massacre of Badd's entire family clan not enough to him? Did he held some grudge for Badd? Because Garou was sure Badd never wronged the people around him, even when he did he never get himself away without some sincere apologize first. He demanded Amai's answer.

Spitting blood from his mouth to Garou's feet, Amai hissed his answer, that he just hate weakness those tame vampire clan showed to Vampire Order. He's not talking about their physical power's weakness, for they possessed incredible inherited traits same as his family clan, but he's talking about tolerance and the willingness to lower themself on the same level with any peasants people that have lower social status than them. Not to mention they had been too soft at handling the problem Vampire Order had about the rivalry between vampire race and werewolf tribes. Suggesting that vampires should getting along and coexist together with savage barbaric werewolfs? It must be a joke! He wanted to throw up thinking about that. Just like their namesake, tame vampire clan, they're really too tame to have a dignity as superior vampire race. Too weak for possesing a great power in their hands, too soft to deserve an honourable position in Vampire Order. He hates it so much. They deserve to be just perished.

Garou narrowed his eyes dangerously, snarling at Amai once he implied Badd's family tragedy. But he quickly calmed himself, no need to be more angrier than now at the eventually dying vampire in front of him. Garou coldly explained to Amai, that what Badd and his family did was not a weakness, it's called COMPASSION, something Amai would never comprehend. The feeling to symphatize and emphatize for the other, putting aside the differences between each other, so they can coexist together to make peaceful and better life. That's why tame vampire clan got their strength from, the LOVE, to protect their beloved one and keeping them safe. Even Garou as a member of werewolf tribe could easily understand that. There's nobody would fits the job to guard royal family and their community except the tame vampire clan, his own Mate's clan. And Amai Mask's family dared to make them cruelly murdered! Mentally traumatized Badd and Zenko for their entire life! Garou couldn't forgive him!

So, to make Badd's suffering end, Garou would dirtying his hand. Calmly, he stepped on Amai's heavily damaged body, bend over slightly towards Amai's chest area. With sharpened claws, Garou impaled his chest and grasped the heart, pulled it out forcibly. Leaving Amai Mask gasped from the sudden force while coughing his remaining blood out, struggling to take his last dying breath. Garou clutched Amai Mask's still beating heart, waiting for it stopped as he watched Amai's struggle gasping finally have ceased and his blood red eyes gradually becomes dull. Now the cruel vampire who tortured Badd's life has died, in his hand. Garou made Amai Mask's last moment of life into what he was when he's still alive: a HEARTLESS MONSTER, both figuratively and literally. What a poetic justice, Garou thinks. That bastard totally deserved it. He wondered if the battle has already ended or not, maybe it's time to go back to his family, his son Gaman, and his mate Badd. Badd. Finally Badd is free now, noone will torture him, not anymore. With a soft smile, Garou rushing back to the Vampire Council Fortress to reunite with his family again.

Yeah I kinda like to make Amai to become a super douchebag bish in this story, so I could killed him as a "Heartless Monster" in the end of the story. Sorry for too long sequel, I was meant to split it to become two parts but it would decrease the tension of story. So, this is the result: gigantic sequel exclusive for battle scenes 😅

So, in this court room, the trial were attempted by the Judges, the Prosecutors, the Witness, and the Spectators. The Judges consists of Elders Vampires who come from royal family clan, the highest strata in all vampire clans, are neutral so they wont be siding to both parties. The Prosecutors are come from various vampire clans, some of them are still devoted to Amai's family clan thus they helped him to frame Badd into coming to this trial. The Witness is Zenko, Badd's only one remained family member who comes from the same vampire family clan, also who knows the details of Badd's life and could help Badd for winning his trial. The Spectators are consists of so many vampire clans, like some pureblood vampire clans which also included Amai's own family members, some neutral and ordinary vampire clans, and a few of them are from royal family vampire clans who also wanted to watch Badd's trial.

The Judges was entrusted with deciding Badd's fate using one judging criteria, which is Pros vs. Cons, whether something is beneficial or not to vampire race communities. If he convinced of the latter, they'll dispose of Badd without hesitation, right then and there. The trial is for deciding Badd's fate about whether he lives or dies, because he was accused as a traitor to vampire communities. Zenko didn't want Badd to die, but unfortunately there are many amongst vampire clans that fear Badd's power and influences as co-leader of werewolf packs. Badd entered the court room, handcuffed and restrained in the middle of the room, kneeled down in frontvof the Judges, the Prosecutors, and the Spectators. Zenko was here among the Spectators.

The trial begins. The Judges started the conversation with a greeting to Badd firstly. Then they confirmation of Badd identity as one of the remained tame vampire clan member, who's also a Fighter Vampire which is a special inherited trait from tame vampire clan throughout time. The Judges asked if all of it are accurate or not. Badd said yes, those are accurate. The Judges said this was an unprecedented case about the violation on Vampire Codes, which is for committing a relationship with the enemy. The final decision being left entirely to the Judges, as they shall deciding whether Badd will lives but heavily supervised or dies at the public execution.

The Judges asked if Badd had any objections about it, Badd said he doesn't. Hearing Badd's cooperated answer, they glad he's quick on the uptake. As expected, trying to hide Badd from the vampire communities is impossible, especially as a co-leader of infamous werewolf packs and also a Mate of the other pack leader. That facts alone made people feared it will threathen the vampire order because he did treason acts to them: betraying their own kind. The Judges let the Prosecutors to deliver their statement.

The Prosecutors proposed that after observing and monitoring all of Badd's activities as werewolf packs' co-leader, they will dispose of Badd in a prompt manner. It can't be denied that Badd's power as a Fighter Vampire could help or benefits the vampire communities. However, his existence is also a source of discord that can incite rebellion. Therefore, after having him impart all of the information he can provide about his packs' and the werewolf tribes' informations, they'll have him die as a sacrifice to warn people so they wont do the same treachery thing like what he did. After hearing the Prosecutors' statement, the Judges let Zenko, the De Charge Witness, to deliver her statement.

Zenko proposed that they could use his power as Fighter Vampire to help maintain the security of royal family, also they could use his leadership ability as co-leader werewolf packs as a sort of peacemaker between vampire race and werewolf tribes. As people know from their ancestors' history, tame vampire clan were known for always become royal family's strongest guards through the time before extinction, as only them who could inherited their "Fighting Spirit" to their descendants. And because currently Badd is the only one who possess "Fighting Spirit" in him, it'll be their loss if people wanted to execute Badd right there.

About the peacemaker thing, Badd could use his leadership and diplomacy skills to become an ambassador or a conciliator between vampire race and werewolf tribes. Because he knows more about werewolf world and could understand them better than any vampire could do, it'll be the right choice if they assign Badd into these positions.

Hearing Zenko's plead statements, the Judges asked Badd to confirm, can he contribute to vampire communities as he has thus far, and will utilize his abilities to the same end. Badd answered that he absolutely can, and will do his best to carry the mandate. Amused, the Judges continued to speak that they wondering if Badd is being honest or not. Because in the case reports, it said that, "Not only betrayed and violate the Vampire Codes for commiting a forbidden relationship with a sworn enemy, he also birthed a child who was born from that relationship". Zenko knows it must be Amai's doing behind this, that he's thebone who wrote those report to the Elders.The Judges asked Zenko the Witness if it's true or not. Zenko answered yes, Badd has a child from his relationship with his Mate. But she told them that Badd has a normal family life despite the differences between him and his Mate, never ever he indoctrinated his child into hating any person or people, never teached his child as an aggressor but only gives him a lesson to defend himself. Also Badd always keep his family, never attack first unless he was being attacked or he's in self defense. He's already doing the best as he could as a loving and caring Mate, so it should be absolutely no problem if he has a love child from his Mate. Zenko asked the Judges to take these facts into consideration as well.

There's an objection coming from Amai Mask himself, he said that he believes her testimony contains too much bias to be considered. Amai explained that a child who's born from a vampire and a werewolf must be some hybrid-kind that are not considered normal by vampire standart. Moreover, the child would have many characteristics that was inherited from their werewolf parent. He's afraid that someday the hybrid child will following their parents path to be a traitor and destroying the vampire order with his other parent's tribe.

One of the Prosecutor added Amai's statement by confirming that Badd along with his Mate and his whole family showed an aggression towards a spesific vampire clan, which is Amai's family. So they asked, how this group of werewolf+vampire family can be trusted to protect the vampire communities if he's fighting his own race himself. This caused a ruckus among Spectators, wondering if they can trusted Badd's or Zenko's testimony. Finally Amai Mask hit the last nail of coffin for Badd's patience by being an absolute heartless douchebag, saying that Badd's hybrid child must be an illegitimate child and a monster, come from the impure lineage which was werewolf race.

What Amai had said really put Badd in furious state. How dare he talks about Gaman that way?! His dearly baby boy, his pure and innocent child, his own blood and flesh that was created by the love he has with Garou, his little ball of sunshine who becomes a new hope in the family, and never once hurts a thing in his life. And that bastard have a gut to say that Gaman is a monster?! It's unforgivable!!

Badd quicky retaliated back by shouting to all spectators that he might be a monster for being a traitor, a disgrace of family clan by being mated with sworn enemy, but it has nothing to do with his son. He's an innocent! Also, his son is not an illegitimate child because he's officially married with his Mate already. He told Amai to stop the cruel accusation for his son. The Prosecutors joined Amai accused him by saying Badd was trying to cover his child because it's true that he's indeed a monster. Badd denied it immediately, insist to answer that is not true at all!

Furious at maximum force, he nearly activated his Fighting Spirit if only he wasn't being restrained or starved for blood. He said so far, all of them was wrong, only blurting out convenient speculation for his child as they please. To begin with, they never ever seen how his child is in reality before, so why are they so insisted to accuse him for what he's never done? He's just an ordinary normal child who's grown up from a caring and well-educated family also only taught on self-defense skills, so he will never be an aggressor to another people.

Badd couldn't hold his rage anymore at the mention of Gaman being refered as illegitimate child or a monster, or that he'll endangered vampire order. He wanted to spill the truth of his past on this court, something that he knew Amai's family clan covered from Vampire Council and the communities for so long. Already decided his life choice, with a fiery determination he begins to speak. Badd begins his speech about the massacre that happened upon his family clan in vampire hunters' hand. But the real truth is, the event was actually orchestrated by Amai's own pureblood family clan, who's spread false rumour about Badd's family and made sure the rumour was being heard by vampire hunters in their territory.

So in other words, Amai's family clan was responsible for the whole massacre event to exterminate all tame vampire family clan. They also made sure nobody in vampire communities, including Vampire Court, know the real truth and only seen the event as only tragedy, not as genocide by fellow vampire race. What's the reason behind this sickening wrongdoing? It turned out they're very envious of tame vampire clan, because the royal family favors them as their confidant, adviser, and guards more than Amai's family clan. The royal family already entrusted Badd's family clan to have their own special place in the Council.

That's why Amai's family clan tried to eliminate them as quickly as they could. Badd only got this important informations when he was eavesdropping his parents' conversation before the whole massacre took a place, before he saw his parents' death by his own eyes. Not only that, he obtained more secret informations about Amai's family clan's future plan during his time as werewolf packs' co-leader: they planned to overthrow the royal family once they got secure positions in the Council so they could have their own way to rule the vampire communities. This revelation truly shocked people in the court room especially the royal family who also attended the trial, while Amai looked so pissed off because Badd spilled the truth right there.

Badd asked the Spectators and the Judges if they still let loose that family clan in their community who's willingly harmed every fellow vampire kind who gets in their way. Also, really acted as aggressors by orchestrating his family clan's massacre tragedy or attacking his newfound family for so many times, and trying to commits treachery towards the royal family. If Badd only violated only one of Vampire Codes about disgraceful act, then Amai Mask actually violated so many Vampire Codes which including the highest offence: genocide and treason against royal family. So in the end, who's really a traitor with bigger sins, him or Amai Mask?

As a fighter, Badd asked how can they're so afraid to not let those with power fight the evildoers? If they're scared of fighting to survive, then at least lend him their strength and supports. Also, as a peacemaker, Badd told them that werewolf tribes are not so heartless or dangerous as it seems like what they assumed before. The werewolfs are just like the vampire race, not entirely different from themself. They expert at being territory protectors, good at guarding people, have amazing teamworks, very loyal to their leader, actually quite obedient, good listeners, loving their family packs so much, and also caring people in general.

So why not vampire race trying to make peace with the werewolf tribes, to end the hate cycle by trying to understand each other, offering friendship, and helping each other. Badd volunteering to give a proof that he could make peace with werewolf race as a co-leader of his family packs. Not to mention he strengthen the bond by birthed a child from his loving relationship with his werewolf Mate really taught him to become a better person than he was before.

Didn't want to lose his dignity as an important Vampire Council member, Amai Mask commanded his family clan to kill Badd on the spot as he accused Badd on trying to deceive people in the court room and defamation on his family's name. Turned out, there's many people from Amai's family members who prepared to executed Badd in case the Judges decided to free him. Zenko panicked as she tried to prevent that happen but she was held back by Amai Mask himself who suddenly appeared beside her, he said she should only watch her brother's demise from there, not joined him. Zenko struggling to break free from Amai's hold angrily.

Seeing Zenko also in danger, Badd tried to break his restraints but unsuccessful because he hadn't drink any blood since yesterday, so his energy still not enough to really activate his Fighting Spirit. Badd didn't want to die stupidly in here right now, he still want to live his life with all his family packs. Especially Garou, who he wanted to embrace one more time if he had to die now. And Gaman, he still hadn't say goodbye to him or how much he loves him for the last time. Badd had already closed his eyes to anticipate the attack from Amai's lackeys when something else happened.

The court room's door suddenly opened forcefully from outside, revealed Garou and Gaman plus several other family packs alliance members who managed to infiltrate the Vampire Council Fortress, while most of the others remained on the outside fighting the Fortress' Guards. Zenko feel relieved finally their family come to rescue on time.
