Got back home from the larp Valvet more than a week ago but haven’t posted anything yet so here’s my usual after larp rant

I made my first ever gelatin prostetics face but I ended up only wearing it for the first 5 min but I figured I could show off the character with the makeup anyway

I played this ass namned Sid, also at times referred to as just as “boss”, it started with just my bodyguard calling him that but it got picked up by other characters as a nickname, Sid is a ghoul, a bit of a mobster who prefers to not get his hands dirty (particularly since his skin started falling off), currently working out his retirement, he really doesn’t like other ghouls or radiation either worried it’ll plunge him deeper into his ghouled state

I had a blast trying to weasel out of every situation and Sid lost most of his dignity during the larp (as seen in the last pic) and just a tad bit of his sanity, I had an umbrella for protection and spyglass to spy on people while pulling on strings and making complicated plots to got what I wanted without doing any dirty work myself

It was also such a 180 from Plast which I’ve played every other year of Valvet, the ex-raider ghoul who does anything to get involved and who’s ghoulhood makes them feel in invincible where with Sid I really underlined how weak he felt and how he was terrified of falling apart more than he already has

I can’t wait to play him again next year and actually have at least one working prosthetic, I already have quite a few plans with other players and I might also get some proper photoshoot done with him one day
