Yesterday was a bit of a minor disaster coinciding with the ‘Golden Anniversary’ of the beginning of the recording of the ‘Valerie Čižmárová
'Bananas For Breakfast' is now 'Hotlips On The Horse Tram'!!!
Purely by accident I discovered, a couple of days ago, a tutorial on YouTube by Michael Davies of Davies Media Design on colourising monochrome images using GIMP, so I thought to try it out on one of the black and white photos from Vilém Sochůrek's photo shoot in 1973 for Valérie Čižmárová's singles sleeves for 1974 to 1977 and I was quite pleased with the results - so much so that I've put it on my 'The Curves Man' Flickr!

To carry on the theme of 'Zpíváme s kytarou' here are the photos of Valérie Čižmárová herself that were used for the front covers of Nos. 148, 179, 207, 248 and 303, respectively in conjunction with the following songs by her: 'Léta letí', 'Tak měj mě rád', 'Spousta příběhů', 'Démantová zem' and 'Mám už toho dost'.
