{Vᴀʟ}ᴇɴᴛɪɴᴇs Dᴀʏ || Aʟᴇxᴀɴᴅᴇʀ ᴀɴᴅ Vᴀʟᴇʀɪᴀ
Valentines Day was probably the only day of the year where Alexander can almost take his mind fully off of Gabriel. He knew he neglected Valeria over the years. He wasn't the husband he should have been. He hated himself for that, but try as he might, it felt like something was controlling him. That something far stronger than he was, lived his life while he just watched. Then again. It was easier to blame others for people's own problems. That's how some get past their mistakes. This wasn't something Alexander could blame on anybody but himself, and he knew that. At least he could try to make up for it.
Valeria was suppose to come home from work any minute now. A vase of beautiful scarlet red roses sat behind the front door, resting on a table with a card resting just in front of it. The card would read "Go To The Kitchen." and there would wait Alexander with a candle lit dinner just for the two of them. Alexander still had a few minor preparations to finish, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. A few dashes of seasoning here. Salt and Pepper there and dinner was ready to be plated and served. The moment Alexander heard a car start to park, he hurried platting the food and set them down on a table before simply awaiting Valeria's arrival.
