Thinking about Valeria and how I see different people’s headcanons and a lot of them are about what she’d be like in a relationship, or just her being a lesbian. But I genuinely cannot imagine her being in any kind of a close relationship. She doesn’t trust anyone, like at all. I see her as not exactly paranoid but I think she always has a plan for every possible scenario, she’s insanely careful, she said it herself that terrorism is insurance. She’s fully aware that almost everyone is corrupt, and has been long before she got into that world, but I also think that she wouldn’t trust anyone because she knows what she did, what she’s capable of, and i just don’t think she’d risk someone having any kind of leverage over her.

I will forever be mad that we never got more info on Valeria’s backstory. Most of what we know is told from Alejandro’s perspective, not hers. He’s the one who says that she was an enforcer for the cartel and Graves concludes that she killed the son of La Araña, but she never really says anything. And I’ve been wondering how that could’ve worked. If most of her team was dirty, how come she’s the one who took over, not someone else? What happened to the rest of them? And the most important thing to me - what does Alejandro know for a fact and what are his assumptions? They haven’t seen each other in 8 years, did he know for sure she was working for the cartel the whole time? Was she reported MIA back in 2014? What the fuck happened?
