Hello! My name is Valdiis ( @valdiis ) . I can be found on Mateus, playing Aeluan Hoshinata (or Daephrin Astramente, or a few other alts). I joined up with the Starlight Initiative because I have more gil than I know what to do with and a burning desire to make people happy with it! I love gathering too, especially when it’s gathering mats for my friends to make their housing items or submarines (TeamCraft is amazing). I also love to RP in the game, though a lot of my writing ends up in Discord these days due to time constraints and scheduling.

While I’m a tank by practice, I’m a bit of a shy tank and prefer to take things at a slower pace. I usually do the newest content with friends who can help with call-outs because I tunnel-vision during fights. That said, I’m happy to help tank for people who are patient with cautious tanks!

When I’m not in Eorzea, I enjoy cross-stitch, embroidery, silver-smithing, making mead, collecting indie perfume, and snuggling in blankets with a book or Kindle. Ask me about my nail polish of the week!

1: Leon tends to sit in a chair the normal way but if he’s too energetic he won’t stay there and is very much going to fidget around and end up backwards, upside down, leaning over the back of it, etc.

2: As a human, generally on his back or side, from which he doesn’t move until he wakes up again. As a worgen, starts on his side, will inevitably try to curl up into a little ball if there are no obstacles in his way. You WILL be teddybeared.

3: Getting to go out flying, running, or both somewhere quiet and peaceful, either by himself or with a specific person of his choosing. Who this person is depends on what sort of comfort he’s looking for, and oftentimes sex isn’t part of the equation. He just enjoys the simple pleasure of physical exertion and seeing the views and listening to the world spin.

4: Something with meat and gravy and optionally, fried. Give the man a Gilnean (cornish) pasty (this is not a typo of the word ‘pastry’) and he’ll think of home.

5: His wives, his boyfriend, his sister-in-law Shedwyn, his adopted big sister Vember, and Saeil. They know what to say and in some cases can make precision strikes to the bullshit his mind is saying to him.

Jackary and Darnath get a pretty damn honorable mention for the whole “hey let’s bridge the gap between the Dream and Ardenweald just so Ysera can talk to you” thing. It’s only an honorable mention cuz they’ve basically only just met thus far.

Etienne is rather physically reserved, and considers hand-holding and hugging to be pushing it in terms of physical affection in mixed company. If they are among friends, they grow more comfortable, especially if there are recreational substances involved. To them, touch is an ultimate gesture of love and devotion, a breaking of barriers, so they share it with those they are closest with among most.

Adi is not comfortable with affection in general, public just makes him clam up. 

Houmei is fine with public displays of affection, and might even be seen as taking it a little less seriously than other people do. Prior to his trauma, he wasn’t the least bit body shy. He isn’t from a place where people hug, but being in people’s personal space isn’t an issue for him unless he’s feeling anxious and needs space.

Hmm, that’s hard. There are several concepts I’ve kind of wanted to play in the past, but that just doesn’t really work well for MMO-RP.

Idristan is a huge musical theatre and opera fan. Give him tickets to a show and he’s very happy (if you also drag him down into the catacombs beneath the opera house later to look for creepy relics, even better). He’s also fond of... mm let’s go with Ishgardian classical music. Symphonies, sonatas, all that.

Shev prefers the ability to remain anonymous, so he favors this type of headwear when he actually wears a hat. That, ans if it rains he doesn’t get nearly as wet.
