couple of paintings I did pre-AF, in which both Astarion and Valdani are, let's face it, night-time fashion icons 👏👏👏

I've decided that, as Valdani is a druid, I want her to have a couple of animal mates - so this ferret is one of them (tbd on a name atm) and also a pigeon (bc of course, I adore pigeons!)

Down By The River

"Valdani moved out of her crouch and stretched out her legs, back resting against a rough-barked tree. Her fist unfurled, and she took his hand in both of hers, absentmindedly playing with it. lil bit of fic-related art once again! I love the idea of Valdani being really tactile (particularly with Astarion ofc but really with everyone)

someone reminded me about ArtFight so, for the first year ever, I'm giving it a go (I chose team tragedy, ofc!)

I've managed to really quickly put together a couple of ref sheets and my team card asap; so glad I only have the one OC atm!

Embrace Your Potential

decided to start a painting series based on each character's questline, and I had to start with Valdani of course and her relationship with The Emperor! Also I'm debuting her new hair, she's basically me but yassified <3

anyway, lore-wise, Valdani decides to embrace her potential and use the parasite to gain more power - not because she's evil, but she has a bit of a hero-complex and makes the decisions that feel right to her, that will enable her to succeed in stopping the Absolute. she's also a smart lady but very trusting, so whilst she knows that The Emperor probably has their own motivations, she takes them at their word and allies with them. they share a common goal, if nothing else, right?!
