Adar flashback in ROP S3 👀
We DO get an Adar flashback in S3. However, it's just a rehash flashback of his death scene. Also, Adar has once again been recast and is played by a new actor. Despite this flashback only being a replay of his death scene, the new Adar somehow manages to construct a totally new characterisation that is not in line with either S1 or S1 Adar. A secret third thing, if you will.

I was familiar with it, I had only read the Hobbit when I started the show though, but I did finish the Fellowship and I am currently reading The Two Towers!

13. There is a lot of music in Tolkien. What character would you wish to sing in RoP? What would they sing about? To whom?
This is a tough one. I would have loved Halbrand to sing something sad and melancholic, but we never got it and it's too late now.
So, realistically...
I would love a fun Dwarf song, the kind you'd sing when drunk. Durin, Disa and Narvi seem like they would be up to it. :-) If they would talk Elrond into joining, it could be fun!
And I would totally love to hear Poppy sing again, too! Could be something fun AND sweet for Merrimac. :-)

Black Speech is pretty harsh sounding, but probably something like "Ohhh tiny baby boi!! Look at you underfed and smol!! Here lemme give you this juicy meat!" He was Lord of the Werewolves after all lol.
