Itās always like this.
Soma goes too long without blood, hating themselves only rarely but never more than when they must be monstrous.Ā And when they indulge --- when they are so desperate there is no other choice --- and hunt down a human that DESERVES THEIR JUSTICE, they are always so far towards the end of a torn thread that control is difficult.
It is a monstrous way to find a person, bent over a body, mouth red, those too - long fangs flashing and eyes bright red and hands reduced to claws.
But even like this, SOMA IS NOT EVIL.Ā There is another watching them --- a CHILD, they realize --- and the monster gasps.Ā Hands raise as though to promise that the BLOODIES CREATURE IS SAFE.Ā Ā āS --- Sorry, not ------āĀ blood smells nice / NO!Ā Ā āHe ------ deserved.ā
