“Vader (Dark Visions #3): An Imperial Nurse’s sad, one-sided love for a masked killer.” - Her name is never mentioned, but it would be so easy for one to make light of this anonymous woman’s mental disorder, or belittle her for harboring feelings of love for the masked killer known as #DarthVader which in themselves are such disgusting and appalling acts. 😖 To those insensitive and closed-minded fools, ask yourselves: “Who is she? Where did she come from? Who are her parents? What became of them? Why is she so mentally unstable? Does she have a history of mental illness? What happened to her before she decided to serve the Imperial Empire as a Nurse? WHY OF ALL PLACES did she wish to serve the Imperial Empire? And most of all, why did she harbor such feelings of love, intimacy, and compassion for Darth Vader?” .... if none of those individuals know the answer to these questions, myself included, then it’s best to remain SILENT. 🤐 If anything, yours truly felt nothing but sorrow and sympathy for this young lady. To be so young, and to have lived such a short life, a very painful and troubled life she must have had, and to love a dark and cruel #SithLord who ceased to love ANYONE the day he murdered his beloved Padmé Amidala, the woman he ironically tried so hard to “save”, only to suffer the same fate as Padmé did.... nothing could be more sad or heartbreaking. 😔💔 If only she had sought help, or someone (ANYONE, if not her parents) could’ve offered to provide her with the help she desperately needed, then maybe this unnamed woman, this anonymous Imperial Nurse could’ve lived a happy life and found a man who’d love her in return, if that is what she truly desired.... companionship. 💑 It’s been a long time since a tale of love, a one-sided love tale, left yours truly feeling melancholic and distressed, which I suppose was the intent of this comic book’s author, Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum. Another irony there.... the Imperial Nurse was definitely sad and hopeless, but she was also still a human being.
