Warnings: blood, death, fight
Writerâs notes: English is not my main language, but i wanted to share my thoughts with you anyway. =) Hope you enjoy it!
It was years now you were converted into a Necromonger, Commander General Siberius Vaako was your superior for quite same time. You always admired him, and followed hir orders without questioning, but there was something about his wife that kept you uncertain of her loyalty to the Lord Marshal Zhylaw and to the Faith.
After the death of Zhylaw against Riddick, your bad feelings about that woman were sure to be true. Some officers began to talk about general Vaako's loyalty; almost everyone saw that he tried to kill Zhylaw at the same time as that Furyan did. Some other had already tried to kill him for being a traitor of the Faith.
You call him to a secure place where you could talk to him freely, without being seen or listened to any one from the order.
âYou better have a good reason for calling me here, Y/Nâ he meets you with aggression on his eyes, pressing your throat with a knife, pushing you against the wall âOr are you also trying to kill me now?â
âI assure you, Sir, that I do have the best of reasonsâ you try your best to speak while your throat is being pressed by his knife. He lets you go, but keeps his intense eyes focused on you. The rage and mistrust were taking over him. He couldnât trust his own shadow after what happened.
âItâs your wife, Lord Vaakoâ your hand goes you throat, verifying if he didnât cut you.
âWhat about her?â he seems impatient
âShe is using you, Sir. Manipulating you.â
âTell me something i donât know...â his voice seems frustrated as he had already figured that long before.
âShe is a traitor, Sir.â you imply
âDonât you ever speak about her like that!â he rages on your way, getting close enough to feel his breath while he argues with you. And if you wanted to kill him, youâd have done it by now.
âSheâs using your feelings for her only to get the throne for herself...â You speak on a calm tone and showing you were not threatened by him. You called his attention with those words, he takes some steps back listening what you have to say. âAfter you kill Riddick, it is only obvious that sheâll wait until you low you guard to kill you next.â
âSheâd never do this!â he says doubting his own words. He knows that this might be true, but he doesnât want to believe in it.
âOh, so knowing her personality, you think that sheâd keep pleased being just the lover of our leaderâŠ?â you tease him, with a malicious grin on your face.
âYou say as if I own the throne already!â
âNo, Lord Vaako, I believe you can achieve more than a Lord Marshal name...â
âWhat is in your mind, Y/N?â he keeps curious of your intentions.
âTranscendenceâ The word means to him more than you could imagine. His eyes sparkle reaching yours. This all made sense to him, his existence had a major purpose than doing his mateâs desires. Â
âWhat about the Furyan?â he asks you with a bitter tone
âI already found a way to get rid of him...for a timeâ you give him a scroll with some notes
âWhat is this?â He grabs it from your hand
âCoordinates... to a faraway planet. Desert, no civilization, only beasts can live in there. There is sure a minor chance that heâll be back, knowing Riddick there always is a chance, but youâll be ready for him until the time comesâŠâ
âThen I will kill your wifeâ
âYou wouldnât dare!â he grabs you by your neck, hitting your head against the wall.
âSheâs a menace, Sir. To you, to all of us. Do you think sheâll keep still letting you rule us all? Do you think sheâll be a good leader to the Faith?â he lets you go, walking in circles from a point to another, trying to think in all you have said, almost accepting your words, he knew she was capable of every means necessary to get more power, but deep inside, he loved her. Â
âAlright, Iâll get rid of the Furyan.â he agrees with you at the end. Then, he gets his face really close to yours holding you by your chin staring deeply into your eyes âBut I dare you touch my wife...â his dark eyes were teasing you, you could almost feel a minor smile coming from his mouth. Suddenly he turns around and lives. If your heart still beat, it would be rushing by now. It was almost as he wanted you to kill her, because his feelings for her wouldnât let him do the job.
As soon as he went out with Krome on a ship to get rid of Riddick, you go to his room to find his wife. Surprisingly, she wasn't there. You check all the room to find if there's any evidence of her, or where she went. You hear her voice outside, you check on her discreetly. Sheâs talking to another woman, seems like sheâs up to something. You decide to follow her quietly until she was alone.
âDame VaakoâŠâ you call for her
She spots you "So, you finally came for me..."
"I canât let Lord Vaako pay for your acts of treason. This must end now!"
"Try me" she teases you to come after her, it was obviously a trap, and you knew just what to do.
You run towards her on an unpredictable path. Not soon, two other man jump from nowhere in your direction. You use your skills to go back from the path you came before, and stab one of them on the back with your knife, and still use his body as shield from the otherâs attack. You grab his double bladed scythe, exchanging some few strikes before you could pierce the other one on his heart. She wasnât expecting that you could get away from this. She tries to run and you go after her getting your knife back from the first menâs back. Â
You got her cornered and she looked scared. When you get your knife close to her neck you feel a stab on your back, it hits you deep, but not deep enough. You turn and see the woman she was talking before, you feel dizzy, maybe the knife was poisoned. You donât waste time and kill the woman who stabbed you. You fight to remain on your feet as Dame Vaako laughs at you walking in front of you âSo, you think youâre smart⊠to let my husband know that you were coming for meâ you were the one who was cornered now.
âYouâre the only one that stabs others on their back, Dame...â you keep your guard up, your vision is getting blurry, and you feel like your energy was being drained. You both spot commander general Vaako walking toward both of you.
âPerfect timing, my husband. Kill her!â she orders him. He raises a scythe, you know you wouldn't win a fight against him, and now your only thoughts are in the future of the Necromonger Empire. That it would be only time for her to take everything she wanted. Suddenly, you feel the pressure of the blade on your stomach. But it didnât pierce you. âI think this belongs to you, Y/Nâ You look at the blade and notice it belonged to one of the man you killed before. You hold it on your hands âThank you, Lord Vaakoâ
With one last movement holding all your strength, you swing the blade cutting Dameâs head off. After that last swing you feel your force fades, an arm holds you around your waist before you fall. You look up, and Vaako was holding you in his arms with a pleased smile on his face, lust on his eyes. He caresses your face, cleaning the blood splattered from you cheeks. You feel his lips pressing yours. He embraces you on a passionate kiss. Until he feel your legs losing its strength. He lifts you, holding you in his arms in bridal style âCome, my wife. You need to restâ.
âWife..?â you ask him, with a weak voice. Almost fading into his arms.
âWell, you keep what you kill...â
