He hasn't seen something as incredible as her. Back when he was masquerading as his father, Loki had spied upon the Avengers and their antics, and he had noticed the witch who had interacted with the sceptre he had once claimed as his own. At last, he is able to meet her outside of their brief glimpses on the battlefield.

By a miracle in this timeline, Heimdall got he and Thor to Earth along with Bruce and Loki had survived. They had joined the Battle of Wakanda and he had watched in awe as the grief-stricken Scarlet Witch had obliterated the Titan with her power.

The aftermath is a mess. Half of the heroes are across the universe and in the process of retrieval; Thor has taken the Stones to New Asgard without further discussion - bound to cause some political troubles; others are still trying to handle damage control. One or two Dora Milaje have the God of Mischief in their sights, ready to activate defences if he were to try to harm the woman who has saved them all. But he is the one who is free in this moment to visit her.
