Elias can see the look in Veronica’s eyes sometimes because it’s the same as his, a fire in them that he knows echoes his own. This look alone is the biggest reason he puts so much trust in her, trust with his own life, even. 

Veronica intimidates Elias. He’s not intimidated often, but with her he is, and truthfully, he’s into it. If they were different people, he’d have asked her out already.

Elias and Veronica train together sometimes. They both need to be in their best shape, and on top of their game, and so they sometimes do that together, if it also sometimes ends in drinks, and testing out things they learned together, well, blame it on the adrenaline. 

“Votre maquillage ressemblait à des bonbons!” (Your make up looks like candy) Rory shrugged without seeming to be bothered that she’d just been called out for licking the face of a woman she didn’t really know in that kind of way. Well, she had seen her welding a knife at a man’s face, could you get to know someone more than that? Rory didn’t care either way. “Why are you so shiny on the…bone here…” She gestured to her cheekbone on herself to signify, she’d obviously heard of highlighter but this was another level. “Which one do you use? Unicorn shit?!”

Describe love:

This is going to sound so cliche but still. Love is when you feel so comfortable you don’t have to edit yourself, you know the person you are with will love you regardless of your flaws, forever. They know your weaknesses but that’s part of the reason they love you. When you’re with someone you love you feel like you’re wrapped up in cotton wool, however bad things you can enter the bubble with the person you love and know someone has your back unconditionally. Love is when you find someone you want to have children with, get married too, spend your life with. It’s someone you don’t want to share everything with but also someone you need to share everything with. I could just...keep talking about what love is to me for hours but it’ll just get more sappy and cliche. I’m such a cliche romantic, and i’m not sorry!

the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you today?

Oh god, what has happened to me today that isn’t embarrassing? I’m such a klutz and a dork so I’m basically embarrassing myself all the time. I tripped getting off the metro this morning which would have been fine if the homeless man who was also in the carriage hadn’t shouted out “God that was embarrassing for you!” because…that made it ten times worse haha.
