Sorry that we haven't been able to have the meeting that we announced a few days ago (Admin Lu Han is unavailable until later on tonight). But I'll just give you some information that Samuel, Lu Han, and I have talked about on a few occasions:

For one, we know that we love this place and the idea of it had potential. Even though we were merely members during the the first days of the Valley, we enjoyed how everyone felt like we were in a community and how large the community managed to grow in a short amount of time. 

But as things faltered after the first few weeks, it seems as though the directory has been on life support and we are constantly trying to revive it. We lost people -- great people who brought other members in, and even they ended up leaving due to their own personal reasons. There have also been some highly dedicated members here (and we honestly thank you for it), but I know that some of you are slowly losing/have lost your muse. It isn't fair to any of you to ask you to be active on here when things are dwindling like they are.

So we want your opinion. We want to hear from you and get your HONEST response on whether or not it's time to let the Valley go. It honestly hurts me to say this, especially when this is the first directory that I felt a connection to with a muse. This doesn't mean that it's the end of the directory: we aren't going to close it down for good if you feel like there could be a change any time soon. But if you know in your heart of hearts that the rp will continue to flat-line or there won't be any permanent improvements, please tell us. We would like to hear from everyone if it's possible.

We'll be having a meeting about the directory as a whole either friday or saturday. We ask that EVERYONE attend if they can. 

Please either reply to this or message the directory stating whether you are available for friday at 8PM EST, or saturday at 9PM EST. 

For those who wish to join in on Origin day, please reblog the update post. We will not group people together that do not show interest in participating. So if you know someone who hasn't gotten onto their account to reserve their spot in Origin Day, then please get in contact with them. This is the FINAL reminder, so please act by tomorrow.

I'm sorry, but I just thought of something fun for the admins to do when things are slow around here. This might also encourage more on-dash interaction in the future, but right now it's all in good fun.

Lu Han, Samuel, you both have a little homework assignment to do soon.

And I know that it's a little sudden, but I would like to have an etherpad meeting with everyone (who can attend) tonight. The meeting will be a little more laid back than the others, only consisting of plotting ideas and the upcoming event. For those who are online, please try and attend. My guess is that the meeting will be around 8PM EST -- I'll give a post confirming that time and another one to remind you 15 minutes beforehand, and finally the link to the pad itself. The meeting will more than likely be followed by a boardgame or a movie, whichever everyone decides to do.
