Serious Talk About the Fate of our Directory
Sorry that we haven't been able to have the meeting that we announced a few days ago (Admin Lu Han is unavailable until later on tonight). But I'll just give you some information that Samuel, Lu Han, and I have talked about on a few occasions:
For one, we know that we love this place and the idea of it had potential. Even though we were merely members during the the first days of the Valley, we enjoyed how everyone felt like we were in a community and how large the community managed to grow in a short amount of time.Â
But as things faltered after the first few weeks, it seems as though the directory has been on life support and we are constantly trying to revive it. We lost people -- great people who brought other members in, and even they ended up leaving due to their own personal reasons. There have also been some highly dedicated members here (and we honestly thank you for it), but I know that some of you are slowly losing/have lost your muse. It isn't fair to any of you to ask you to be active on here when things are dwindling like they are.
So we want your opinion. We want to hear from you and get your HONEST response on whether or not it's time to let the Valley go. It honestly hurts me to say this, especially when this is the first directory that I felt a connection to with a muse. This doesn't mean that it's the end of the directory: we aren't going to close it down for good if you feel like there could be a change any time soon. But if you know in your heart of hearts that the rp will continue to flat-line or there won't be any permanent improvements, please tell us. We would like to hear from everyone if it's possible.Â
