The young queen's eyes did gleam with satisfaction as p r i s o n e r was brought forward, beaten and bruised. She might have had him executed -- for one cannot be lax when it comes to those who oppose her rule -- but her loyal and trusted councilors had convinced her that the son of Daenerys Targaryen was more value to her alive than dead. What use was the son of a traitor? Nevertheless, the little queen did stand and crane her neck to get a better look at her guest.
Perhaps she had been expecting a silver-maned Targaryen like the ones she had read about when she was younger, but this one was dark-skinned and out of place in her courtroom, like some savage. He is a savage, she did remind herself with some distaste, nose crinkling slightly at the thought of having to accomodate the Dothraki-Targaryen mongrel within the Red Keep. Carefully did she tread down the flight of stairs, slowing half-way to look upon the faces of her Queensguard momentarily. Sharp voice rang clear, as she made her thoughts heard ----
"Does he speak the Common Tongue?"
Impatient as she was, Joffreya did not wait for an answer before continuing forward, apparently fascinated with her new plaything -- as a child might be when presented with a new toy -- though she ensured that she remained high above all else present. Hand upon hip, the Baratheon girl questioned,
"Do you know why you are here?
Do you know where you are?
Do you know who I am ---- ?"
One by one, pointless questions escaped the lips of the blonde girl looming above him, emerald gaze fixated upon the boy who has been bound and forced to his knees beneath the true and r i g h t f u l queen. Clearly growing impatient very quickly, Joffreya's lips twisted upwards in an unpleasant fashion as she gritted her teeth. Wishing to exert control, she raised her voice,
"Answer me, then ----"
