âEveryone sleeps eventuallyâ Splinter replied, calmly dragging the block of whetstone along the edge of his sword, calm gaze remaining on his weapon as he casually sharpened it.
âDespite the high opinion of yourself you seem to hold, you are as much a slave to the laws of nature as everyone elseâ
Mikey glared at the rat. He knew by now, that Splinter would, very much like his own father, have no hesitation in giving him a painful lesson, if it needed to. He was fine about having to fight him, if he had to, in order to survive. Mikey figured he was a strict father to his sons. The only difference, was that his own father would do so to be cruel. Or out of anger. This Splinter, was always acting on kindness and care. But he was strict. Probably stricter than most parents. He was very much like a parent should be, probably.
âIâm not lying!â He said furiously, and narrowed his eyes. However, then he yawned, widely at that and seemed a bit self consicous all of a sudden.
â..I only like sleeping once a week or so. Most of the time Iâm awake. I nap. Naps arenât sleeping.â
