To Almost Break A Curse - 1
By his spinning wheel, after being saved from falling (though she’s a Pixie, imagine that), Dalilah and Rumple were simply talking when the brave woman leaned in for a kiss, and he reciprocated. Their lips met, and it was like all of her walls just fell down. Neither really noticed that his curse was breaking until after the long, love-filled kiss had come to an end, and then only he did. Unfortunately, he flipped out on her, yelling about how he couldn’t be loved...
Almost An Hour After - 2
And she argued, and they separated to different areas of the castle... She cried, and cried, and dried her face, then she went to find him. And when she found him, she managed to convince him that she did love him, all of him, perhaps with a few tears shed, perhaps not. Their lips once again met, and she completely melted into his touch, leaning into him as their kiss held out for nearly a minute. When they finally broke apart, it was as if her breath had been stolen completely from her chest. Her love for the man and the monster shown brightly in her eyes, which needlessly searched his face for the same emotions. She didn’t have to search long.
When She Was May - 3
Unfortunately, while on a run for straw for Rumple, Dalilah was stolen away by none other than Regina, and she was locked away for a long, long time before she managed to escape to make her way back to her true love, Rumplestiltskin. She didn’t make it to him, however, until 28 years had passed and Emma Swan arrived in Storybrooke. She, known as May under the curse, made her way to his shop to face her fears. Once inside, however, she felt virtually no fear. They spoke, she left, and a few days later, the woman returned. He told her of the curse, and how the two of them had been close before, and how her name was Dalilah, and she loved him. It took some convincing for her to believe that he, or anyone, ever actually loved her, and then, when she was least expecting, he leaned in for a kiss. She never quite knew why, but she reciprocated, and then after ten seconds, she pulled back and turned, abruptly leaving, fear in her eyes and her step. She couldn’t possibly be loved by someone such as him. No one could ever love her.
Lyle’s Birth - 4
Many, many, many years passed, and during that time, the curse over Storybrooke was broken, Rumple and Dalilah married, and they had a daughter, Lilly Gold. However, nothing was quite as exciting as when their son Lyle was born. Dalilah was simply sitting on their sofa, reading a book, when suddenly she felt a pain in her lower abdomen... Contractions. She looked over at her husband, who sat on the couch with her by her feet, and she smiled at him, “The baby’s coming.” And he began to talk about getting her to the hospital, at which she merely shook her head and told him to call her parents. He did as she said, after asking if she was sure, and the two Pixies, Claudina and Nrenighnx, were there very quickly. They worked fast to numb Dalilah’s pain through her contractions with a special balm, then, when it was finally time, Dalilah grabbed her husband’s face in both of her hands and pulled him down to kiss him, gently, softly. She broke the kiss only when she heard the soft crying of her newborn son, and her mother handed him over. The joy she felt was unmatched by any feeling she’d ever had.
Leila And Logan Are Announced - 5
After a horrible miscarriage she suffered when almost to term, Dalilah was feeling down, and slightly out of it. Her feelings of sadness and guilt almost matched those she felt when her youngest sister died.. Then, after a few long months, she found out once again that she was pregnant, and another few months later, she found out it was twins. Of course, the first thing she did each time was tell her husband, and when she told him it was twins, he could only respond with, “Really...?” And when she merely nodded, he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her softly on the lips, and she returned the kiss, arms wrapping up around his neck. Fifteen seconds passed, and she broke the kiss to smile at him. She then hugged him tightly, resting her face in the crook of his neck.
