amazonite: what kind of situations call for my muse to be dishonest
a lot of situations, actually. mostly it’s personal stuff like his gynophobia, his past or just things about himself. it downright makes his skin crawl when someone he isn’t comfortable with/doesn’t know asks him things about himself. it only makes him severly uncomfortable when that happens and so he’ll lie, of course. but he generally lies quite a lot, like already mentioned, but it’s more small lies you’d use on your mom and nothing critical, if you know where i’m coming from. he’d also lie for his friends, family, mere acquaintances if hes fond of them, etc. … if only he had anything like that after leaving regna ferox.
hiddenite: how much of an "inner child" my muse has
there’s not much of his inner child left after what he’s been through and after being forced to grow up really fast. he’s a serious and stern person (as you know), even in private he keeps his walls up at almost all times and is very hard to deal with at times, since he’s also incredibly stubborn most of the time. however, lon’qu often rediscovers his inner child when he starts playing with bugs like he did during his childhood and yet again, sometimes it happens that he will reveal parts of himself (including the remains of his childishness) to loved ones and (yep, you guessed it) people he’s comfortable with. he also is a fan of bad jokes and word play which will become clear as he opens up after trusting someone enough to let himself become vulnerable and show them what he’s actually like.
ulexite: how empathetic/sympathetic/compassionate my muse is
honestly? again, it heavily depends on the person and on the situation (he’s so biased about those things, i’m kinda sorry). if it’s about problems or experiences like his own, he’ll seem like an actually really sweet person, who offers some good advice because he knows what they’re going through and is aware of how horrible anxiety/other ptsd-esque things and losing someone close to them is. however, if someone who has proven themselves to be quite unpleasant to lon’qu (which isn’t hard; he has bad opinions of almost everyone at camp), he’ll have little to no patience with them and is not understanding at all if they come to him with things he has no idea of. though, like subtly implied, even if he dislikes someone, he’d help them when they’re not the most mentally stable, since in his eyes no one really deserves to deal with those kind of problems alone.
