I didn't know UUG(2)'s Sasaki Honoka auditioned for MM...what the heck! She's such a little ball of explosive and expressive energy, the personality to match and she's really loud and funny. I'm glad she ended up in a group anyway but that's another girl we can add to the list.            

Tsunku still produces interesting songs, but they all seem to go to his other projects, and when UF lets him give songs to H!P we often end up with stuff like Just Try! or Sou Janai... I don’t get it at all. Lucky for UUG(2) though, I guess.

Tsuji did UUG(2) Kajii's makeup and while it was a bit much she looked SO GOOD with the color contacts. Golden Era members were allowed to wear color contacts but Karin said UFA doesn't allow them now. I think if the girls want to try if they could? It makes them more...sparkly? idk            

If you look at Tsunku’s twitter he’s more involved in his other projects. He even responds to people/retweets people talking about UUG(2) and promotes them. He did sound a bit salty and did admit some truths in the 20th anniversary book (admitting Platinum is better at dancing on *average* than current lineup when he said the opposite before, the Platinum Era sound wasn’t his idea, wanted more members between 2004-2010, etc.). MM is his baby. It’s so sad.        

It’s not about money or effort when UFA gives MM boring concepts. The latest Anju and J=J MVs were creative. UUG(2) gets a budget of 20 yen and their latest MV was more interesting. Nishiguchi the current president of UFA said a while back MM could do just about whatever and they’ll still sell because of their name.            

UUG(2) seem like a cheap ass underground idol group. Which I guess, they literally are...but it's weird to think they're in the same company as MM/ANGERME/etc. But somehow their cheapness doesn't have that H!P cheapness we're so used to and I kinda like it.
