Watching Ajit Pai shred net neutrality is, for real, affecting my mental health and I’m not even an American. 

I mean I guess at this point, I should really just expect the endless fucking cruelty and greed of these heartless fucks, but tbh I’ve always been somewhat naive - I like to imagine that, even if people arent always at their best, that there’s at least a bottom limit to their depravity. But, of course there fucking isn’t. 

As someone who remembers the world without the internet, and the absolute joy of just communicating with someone from a different country in real time, and forming new communities and sharing art, and really just playing with this new and incredible medium....I just feel devastated. That something that truly belongs to us all will be stolen by these capitalist scumfucks is bringing me close to tears. This will usher in whole new levels of inequity and struggle for those who are already poor and vulnerable. All to line the pockets of those who already have 1000x more than their share.
