Losing your baby spontaneously in spite of taking all the precautions can be traumatic. Such a miscarriage is sure to stress you and you may feel extremely depressed. 

All is not lost, however.  You can always try and conceive a baby soon after this mishap. There will be some restrictions in place and you need to follow the advice of your doctor before trying to become pregnant once again.

You may need to undergo the following tests before your doctor asks you to go ahead. 

1) Blood Tests

2) Tests to detect Chromosomal abnormalities

3)  A pelvic scan to rule out short cervix/incompetent cervix and other uterine malformation

The fertility doctor may also advise additional tests to check your uterine lining and treat any inefficiency that you may have.
