Beneath the Floorboards
Centuries ago, a war broke out between two races, two kingdoms. Ebbot, home of the humans. And Delta, empire of the monsters. Though everyone knows this story by now, the humans come out victorious, and the monsters are forced into hiding. But our story starts in the present day, a time without war, and a time when monsters keep to the shadows of the forest.
But what happens when you, after being newly promoted to Constable Mage; a member of the high court, are sent to restore protection over a suspicious site at the base of Mt.Mercy? Just bordering the ruins of the dynasty that once stood tyrannical, now rubble with a lingering stench of the magic that ran through its walls.
