If you're watching Greyhound, you might be interested in comic book artist Sam Glanzman's "U.S.S. Stevens" stories (originally published in DC war comics of the '70s and '80s) and A Sailor's Story graphic novels (originally published by Marvel), all recently reprinted by Dover. They're based on Glanzman's own WW2 experiences as a young destroyer sailor and are very good.
