On Coruscant, the Force was a river through which the thoughts and feelings of trillions of sentient beings coursed. An untrained Force-sensitive could easily be swept along in its currents. But if Coruscant was a river, then Lothal was like Naboo—wide, still waters that held surprising depths and dangers. Anakin felt Luke still beside him, planting his feet and slowing his breath. Luke had a way of touching the Force that was noticeably different from his own. Where Anakin's had always been a rush forward, Luke's was a leaning in that seemed to come naturally. It was very like Ahsoka, and it was very like Obi-Wan, and Anakin thought, not for the first time, that his son had been assembled from the best parts of the people who loved him.
