Of course, many mythological texts and artworks connect Daphnis to the satyr  P a n, the God of music. Pan frequently was depicted in sculpture chasing both women and men around. Half man. Half goat. Bisexual.
hi! i was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to do character posters? mine come out really simple because i'm just not sure what to put on it besides quotes? <3 thanks!
hi there!! iâm rly flattered you came to me for advice, tysm!!
idk much abt how to make a tutorial, but i can at least explain some of the things i do when i make posters:
firstly, i try to make sure that the photos i choose fit well together in terms of colours and âbusinessâ (as in: make sure that either all or half the photos have the similar levels of minimalism or business - example)
if you find a perfect photo that doesnât quite fit the others in terms of colours and/or brightness, donât worry! you can play around with the different settings in ps until it fits the others (my go-to are usually brightness/contrast and selective colour, but there are a bunch of rly useful settings to play around with!)
then i crop and resize my photos so theyâre all the same
after that i play around with different colouring psds to figure out which ones make my photos look good! i pretty much always use at least three different ones, and sometimes i play with some of the settings within the psds to make everything look just right
after i get the colouring down i add my text. i usually always put the characterâs name, but i switch around what else i put on: book/series, author, any titles the character might have, quotes, itâs pretty much just what strikes my fancy that particular day!
sometimes i stop at this point, but if i feel like the photoset needs a little something, i add a âborderâ (example), which usually does the trick! (if you need help with how to make a border like that, iâm sure a tutorial can be found on various resource blogs. or feel free to ask! iâd be happy to explain how i do it!)
i hope you found this helpful! <3
