ugh...i rly hate how both buck and eddie are constrained to these fanon archetypes that are completely the opposite of their characters. and look, if you wanna write fic or whatever in that way, i have no issue with it—my issue is mostly with ppl who've made up these versions of the characters in their heads and then call it bad writing when the show doesn't conform to them. like sorry but buck is not an uwu soft boy and eddie is not this grumpy possessive dude idk what to tell you 😭
