Found out how to upload here from google chrome on computer. Going to View - Developer - Developer Tools you can easily upload pictures to Insta via chrome. There's a side window that pops up and in the top left corner there's an icon with two mobile devices, click it to make it blue! Viola! Refresh the page and upload a pic from the + at the bottom of the screen and you can eliminate the need to send a picture to you phone!.
