Do you care about the planet?🌏🌍🌎 Another day, another headline warning us that microplastics are EVERYWHERE. In our water, in our food, and in our bodies. We are contributing to this problem by refusing to stop using single-use plastic. That includes things like straws, coffee cups, takeaway containers and plastic cutlery. But it also means products that we use for a while, but that still end up on the landfill. Products that we can easily (and in most cases cheaply) substitute with more natural or safer alternatives. Things such as replacing your shower puff with a knitted one, or your sponge with a loofah. Swopping out your cotton wool for bamboo facial rounds, or changing from tea bags to loose leaf tea because yes, even tea bags contain plastic! If we do not start to reduce, reuse, refuse, recycle and rot (compost) we are steering into disaster even faster than we can imagine. And I want my kids to grow up in a world lush with plants and animals, not battling for clean air and water.
