This scene is so so cute and I'm so sad that they cut the little girl being so naughty and cheeky. You can just imagine what great parents Mary and Matthew will be from this little interaction.

When I heard the cottages line in the final film, I couldn't believe my ears as it's so sweet to think that Mary is still honouring and remembering Matthew's legacy after all these years. It's also hilarious that they are still working on those cottages 18 years later - that's building work for you!
