Cora felt herself getting smaller. What did he mean with that? She did not even talk with other people. "Hugo, please what did I do? I tried to stay next to you at the afterparty. Please tell me what I did wrong." Internally she scolded herself. Why did she lower herself to his demands. She should run away and find another man who she liked and could picture a future with. She should stand up to her mother and demand she was freed from this bond. There was no logic behind this agreement, at least as far as she knew. Her father died a couple of years ago and since that day her mother was adamant she married into English nobility. But why Hugo?

Robert grinded his teeth, he did not like being called that by his employees. It was a title he carried, but it had nothing to do with the company. Daniel started to explain the idea behind the stand and how Rosamund helped him with it. Robert had trouble listening to him. He was distracted by a beautiful woman who walked passed. Her dark brown curly hair bounced on her back. Her heels made her already long legs even longer. He was mesmerised by her walk. Her hips swinging from left to right ever so slightly. She was talking to a guy next to her so he could only see a glimpse of her side profile. She disappeared behind a curtain, and Robert had to suppress the urge to follow her.
