HERE IS A LIST OF REFUGEE ASSISTANCE ORGANIZATIONS
All of them have resources for you, petitions for you to sign, and other ways for you to take action. If you like the links that I’ve posted here, please reblog this post (don’t just “like” it) so that other people may see these as well.
International Rescue Committee - One of my favorite organizations. They offer legal assistance to refugees, help with resettlement, provide food, clothing, and services to refugees and also offer counseling to survivors of gender-based violence. They literally do everything - www.rescue.org
International Refugee Assistance Project - NY-based legal aid group that defends the rights of refugees around the world - www.refugeerights.org
Refugees Welcome International - A company based in Germany that is basically an “AirBnB” for refugees. They operate in many European countries like Germany, Italy, Austria, and Greece, and are also available in Canada. They currently don’t have a branch in the US, but you can still donate on their website to help their cause - net.fluechtlinge-willkommen.de/
U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) - Another organization that protects the rights of refugees and helps to ensure them a smooth transition to a new life - www.refugees.org
Mercy Corps - Provides direct aid to Syrian refugees in the form of food and supplies - www.mercycorps.org
World Relief - They work with local churches to provide aid and resources to newly resettled refugees. World Relief operates in 27 cities in the US and 14 countries around the world - www.worldrelief.org
