I am panicking because I just lost all my files, especially my recent fanfic I have been working for MONTHS. The only back-up copy is the one that I had copied 10 days ago, the problem is the original copy has a lot more information and I would not know what I have written for the past 10 days. :( I am trying to recover it all back using “Data Recovery” from asofttech. Another problem is that I couldn’t get them all back in their file name. I’m sure I have more than 500 files in my USB and it will take a LOT of time to rename and organize them :( This is the price I have to pay for not

Bring back your USB stick with multiple un-formattable partitions using Bootice.

Open BOOTICE with USB inserted and select the USB from the dropdown.

Click Parts Manage button below and select ReFormat USB disk.

Select USB-HDD Mode (Single Partition) from the next popup menu.

Format in FAT32 or FAT16.

I am going for Ubuntu 12.10 in my VAIO. I found Linux Live(LiLi) USB Creator. You can have Linux live in USB, and use it to save persistent data.

But, I am late and already shrinked 9GB.
