Am I happy that we are gonna have better relations with Cuba? As a Cuban-American I have waited my entire life to go to my dad's home country, but not with Castro still there. There is no way I can EVER forgive or forget all the things that the Communists in Cuba have done to my family. They held 3 of my great uncles in prison for 18 years just for speaking out against the Government. They took my grandmother's wedding ring and majority of her money when she left Cuba just because they could. Once he was in America, my dad, at age 15, had to work as many jobs as he could in order to support my aunt and grandmother and save enough money to get my grandfather to Spain and then America all while attending school at the same time. I even have family in the Cuban government with whom I've never talked to nor care to meet. I just can't go to a country that used to be so full of life and happiness and see it destroyed and oppressed. At least not while that murderer is still there. So I'm sorry if I'm not fucking ecstatic that we can now get Cuban cigars legally. Cuba isn't just cigars and classic cars. It's so much more and people don't understand that. Please remember the Cuban people who are still oppressed under Castro.
