TO ALL OF MY US FOLLOWERS: THE VOTE ON ICE FUNDING HEADS TO THE SENATE TODAY. CALL YOUR SENATORS
This is a real chance to get something done about the ICE tactics while the national pressure is on. Please call your senators (not your representatives, they already passed the bill to the Senate). Ask them to not vote for any piece of legislation that continues to appropriate funds for ice.
Just for clarity, ICE already has a fucking huge slush fund that was funded by the Big Bullshit Bill last summer, but this is sand in the gears that we can make some noise about.
I know I don't usually post calls to action here, and I try to keep a more global view, but I just wanted to take a second to encourage US citizens to use their voices, at a moment where we need them. I've been calling my senators in the midst of one of the deadliest ice storms in US history, it's very important to me.
