Another protestors on a bike, who did not want to be identified out of fear he would be attacked by NYPD, saw what happened and tried to follow the van when it stopped in a bike lane and uniformed officers with covered badges got out to yell at another protestors on bike with a GoPro who was following them to stop, before they got back in the car and drove past multiple red lights. Stone has supposedly been released from custody and was claimed to be “arrested” for supposedly damaging police cameras at five different events, but NYPD did not state when and where these five separate events occurred. Also, NYPD tried to justify the use of the unmarked van by claiming that the Warrant Squad uses it to more easily locate suspects.
