Is it, time to speak up or time for silence?
Time for peace, or is it time for violence?
Is there anybody out there that's payin' attention?
Clive was never someone complaisant.
(Granted, he's gotten much quieter about it ever since he's been in Spirale, energy long dead â but even then the spirit's still lingering there somewhere.)
Do you have enough love in your heart
To go and get your hands dirty?
It isn't that much but it's a good start
So go and get your hands dirty
  Do you love your neighbor?
  Is it in your nature?
  Do you love a sunset?
  Aren't you fed up? (Yeah)
Do you have enough love in your heart
To go and get your hands dirty?
Of course, as a 6+ game, it gets downplayed a ton like everything â but it's still pretty obvious that the political state there, is uh, fucked to put it kindly. The injustices are exactly what drove Clive to become a journalist in the first place, find out the truth himself that way if no one else is going help in that department â but playing fair in a rigged game doesn't bring you far. Asking politely for a change, doesn't bring you far. They don't listen to the "little" people if they don't get their hands dirty.
So, instead of letting himself be silenced like his colleagues & co, that's exactly what he did, despite the fact how he's solely putting himself in danger by stepping out of line & speaking up. Well, what more does he have to lose, anyway?
Is there anybody out there that's payin' attention?
Is there anybody out there that's payin' attention?
Is there anybody out there that's payin' attention?
... of course, with attempts of such continuously failing, over and over again, at some point Clive inevitably went too far. Big time. Destroying-Half-Of-The-City too far. Talk about an escalation, huh?
