three major arcana tarot cards illustrated and printed! in order it’s Pietre as the Hanged Man, the Urtarasque as the Tower, and Drydera as the High Priestess. these were a lot of fun to work on and i’m so pleased with how they look printed!

The Golden Beast slumbering in it’s prison under a great mountain. This dormant king both created and euthanised by Divine hand is well known in folklore, though the path to actually see it face to face is treacherous and rarely ventured. The beast itself, of course, is as lifeless as a statue, but the land itself it dwells under is said to have been cursed by the Gods to discourage visitation and tampering.

Shortly after the Awakening of the Urtarasque, Nevermore goes to investigate the rubble of the mountain the beast once laid dormant within, encountering someone very special

on this day two years ago I finished the painting of the Battle against the Urtarasque, one of my most ambitious and largest paintings, taking around 50 hours altogether. so to celebrate here are some simpler little heraldic stickers of the Golden Beast in both normal colouration and colourpicked from the painting! they are available on redbubble.
