HOW WOULD THE SKEKSIS TREAT THEIR URLING CHILD!?!? Obviously their Human S/O would beg to keep both children.
This is specifically for carrying humans, i hc if skeks carry, their urru gets does as well so unless the human made the trip they wouldnt be crossing paths any time soon!
skekSo: He is surprisingly involved, making sure the urrling is held at a very high standard and esteem, to be addressed as young Lord and seated with their twin beside their parents. To outside eyes, there seems to be no favoritism. He’s just as strict as he is with the skekling. However he gives the skekling much more praise when its just the two of them, and if the urrling ever gets in trouble, does not intervene as he does with the skekling.
skekTek: He loves the urrling, but he is so, so scared for them. It manifests with him being incredibly overbearing sometimes. They’re just so vulnerable in his eyes. He’ll pretend to hate them in front of other skeksis and apologize profusely once they’re gone. It really fucks with the poor thing’s self esteem though. They try to be understanding but they’re a child and their father is being cruel when other people are around. Its understandably hard.
skekMal: Actually, its him who demands to keep the urrling! Not that you were going to give them away anyways, but he shot that possibility down before it even came up. urVa would not be in ANY WAY involved in his life, their lives, or yours. He treats the urrling as an equal to the skekling, surprisingly. That doesn’t mean he’s soft on either of them though. He’s equally hard on them, and wants to toughen them both up to survive.
skekGra: He loves his urrling child! There’s no doubt about that and he doesn’t hesitate to tell them constantly. He’s nervous, because this is not only an urrling but a human blooded urrling growing up relative isolation interacting only with their immediate family, two of which are really one person who is NOT of their species, and Dousan gelfling. Their sense of identity is going to be all over the place and he worries for them.
