In december I am going to the Archeon Midwinter fair. Given that it will be winter my Tessiël kit wil definitely be too light so I figured I would take Alexandra of Novgorod out for a spin.
However when I created Alexandra of Novgorod I had situated her as a 14th century Kievan Rus. For the midwinter Fair I want to go back four centuries and make her a Varangian Viking instead. The coat and pants are still okay for that especially if you don't look too closely at the construction of the coat but the tunics are a bit too obviously 14th century so this was an excuse to make a pair of Bocksten tunics with some urnes inspired embroidery (thank you @ilsa-makes-things for you drafting tutorial )
This is the first one.

I will also probably be adding one woolen tunic one cloak and some accessories like a a tablet woven belt, a sash and a belt bag.
