Tink (now O’Malley) is in worse shape than first thought, but he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body in spite of everything he’s been through (and I can’t even allow myself to think what that’s been 💔😪) Please see below for the update from his foster and details on how to honour your pledges and donate towards his veterinary care if you would like to do so. Just got Tink (now O'Malley), he is in pretty poor shape. His ears are all crusted to his head and scabbed up, he must have had that infection for a while. He can barely eat the dry food which is probably what they were feeding him at the shelter. His teeth are a mess and the stench from his mouth is pretty bad. He probably lost weight there not eating. I gave him some very mushy, high-calorie food from the vet and he was eating that. He is very hand shy, trembles every time I move. He wasn't treated very nicely whereever he was because he is limping on his front paw and his tail is lobbed off half way down and is a long nub. I am sure he never has seen a gentle hand before, yet he wasn't angry or mad and let me pick him up. His eyes are goopy and his coat is a mess. Going to try to get him back to good health and trusting of people.
